Samantha got up, and petted Gryffin.

(bye moonie)

Gage looked at her, and said, "Usually everyone runs in terror, because he's able to control fire. He's not really a dog..."

"I think he's ok." she said, still petting him.

Gage nodded. "It's not like he'll hurt anyone..."

"Well I don't mind if he hurts Ian." she said with a smile.

"I probably wouldn't either." Gage smiled faintly, and rolled his eyes. Gryffin bucked up, and stood on his hind legs.

Samantha got up, and walked over to a tree. She concentrated than turned into a griffin. Samantha etched into the tree her name and today's date with her talons. "Wonder how long that will stay there?" she thought in her head.

Gage had a curious look on his face, as she did so.

Samantha than walked back to the side of the road. She started to preen her feathered wings.

Gage was now playing with Gryffin's fur. It was bright red, and rough. Soon Gryffin's feet had fire around them, little blue flames. Gage looked down, and said, "That's not the brightest idea..."

Samantha saw fire, and got up quickly. She backed away a few, she squawked at it.

Gryffin lowered his head, and made the flames go away. Then he spoke like a Gryffin would, since he was partcially griffin, himself. "I am sorry, Samantha." Gage looked at Gryffin, not knowing if he said or did anything, except make the fire go away.

"It's ok." she squawked in griffin. Samantha went back to where she was sitting before.

Gage got bored, and stopped playing with his fur. He wished he knew how to speak griffin.

Samantha than spread her wings, and took off into the sky. After a while she came back down, and transformed into her human self. "Have you ever flew before?" she asked Gage.
