"Oh, yeah your right.... Hmmm, I wonder why it is like earth." He said, observing the world around him. "I guess it's like a second chance and the earth might give us comfort or something?" He said, not really caring too much.

"That sounds... Reasonable," I agreed, surprised since I hadn't even though of that. "I'm going to go see what shops are here. Wanna come?" I offered, wanting some company.

Alex jumped to agree. "Yes, please!! Standing here is a bit boring. Perhaps there are some good shops." He said. "Perhaps I can buy me a guitar, I've been dieing to play one" He said, stopping to laugh at his pun. "Wow, anyway I know some pretty good songs from traveling in Nashville. "

"Cool," I smiled, since I played a bit of guitar myself. Well actualy Bla- my mind couldn't finish his name -had taught me a few notes. Then I'd learned to play the song Belle of the Boulevard, since I could relate to it SO much... "I'm sure there is," I smiled, leaving the school's campus.(sp?)

Alex fallowed, still wondering to himself about her. She still seemed to be holding back something. He shrugged it off for now and answered. "Oh, great! I love the old country ballads. Perhaps I could sing one for you if you wanted. Although, not many of them have happy endings." He said, remembering the songs he learned.

"Maybe one day," I nodded my head, wondering if I would even see this guy again. I looked at the rows of shops, but nothing seemed to interest me at the moment.

Alex nodded and glanced from her eyes to the shops around them. He didn't think that she saw any she liked, or at least she didn't look like it. Alex's tail seemed to have a mind of it's own as it gently made it's way around both of his feet. Suddenly it buckled and Alex fell to the ground. "Hey!! Cut that out!" He shouted, trying his best to untangle his tail from his feet. He pulled hard, but it only seemed to hurt himself.

I laughed, a little humored by his disobediant tail, but trying to hide it since I knew e must have been frustrated. "Getting the hang of being part animal?" I asked him, smiling, as I offered him a hand.

Alex yanked on it again and finally it released. "Yeah, hanging is right. I think the power of fire would of done nice, but no!!" He said, taking her hand.
