[new announcement] Rose, Mist, Bramble, Storm, Half, Vamp, and Were

Shock ruffled my fur. "What?" I hissed, through clenched teeth, claws unsheathing.

"You heard me. I'm only here because my medicine cat wasn't around when I started having my kits at the RoseClan boarder." her tail wagged at the sound of the other cat's hostility. "Belive me, you don't want to pick a fight with a cat who's half-dog."

(m)- Blueblaze grinned. "oh, well, in that case, I am Blueblaze. So, uh, what's up?" She smiled at them both, but paid more attention to Ravenclaw, since he was the boy. "Are you new to the clan, or what?" Blueblaze asked, in a nice tone.

(LOL!! Nice, very nice xD)

(R) "Cool your fur, kitty," he said with a bit of a laugh, rising to his hiw towering height. "Hardly. I was brought here by the medicine cat since I was unclaimed at Seventrees."

Moonlightkit smiled, seeming slightly impressed she got to share information, "No, there's several clans. Mistclan and Brambleclan are just a few. And theres some I've heard of from queens talking; we've spent a rather long time as kits. Both of us are bound past apprentice age now."

(M) The brother and sister pair looked at the other and smiled broadly.
"Hardly, miss," Ravenclaw said with a coi voice. "I've been here since the clan started; I was an apprentice then."
"It's not as long as you might think either. We were Roseclan kits and became Mistclan apprentices here."
"Good times," the bronze tom purred.

"Hmph." I mewed indignantly, bending down to lick the messy fur on my chest. "You were abandoned?" Sympathy and shock flooded into my tone. My little eyes grew as big as saucers.

"There's more?!"I exclaimed in a small voice. "The forest is bigger than I thought!" She began to talk about being apprenticed, and I blushed, feeling young. "I'm only four moons." I confessed.

"Take your kits and leave!" I commanded, my grey eyes narrowed to slits.

Eagleflight turned to face her. "I don't know if I should do that. After all, its the medicine cat who can tell me when to leave."

Eyes still blazing, I walked into the medicine den. "Snowstorm?" I called. "Can we get this deranged she-cat and her mangy little kits out of here?"

(R) Bramblekit nodded his head but it was in an indifferent way, "I don't mind it though. In my expertise Roseclan has a better selection of classy she-cats."

Moonlightkit nudged the tawny brown cat who smiled radiantly at him. However he just earned a flat look from her, "I'm eight moons."

"Nine," confessed Bramblekit which showed in his size.

Eagleflight, now finished with her meal, padded back into the nursery, curling protectively around her kits.

(R) He glanced down at his pelt as if considering what she said and shrugged, "Dunno... Gives me a down-to-earth feel."

"Feel; that's the key word," Moonlightkit and snorted then looked at her and smiled a bit. "Well, she's been a bit busy," she said with a calm and a bit of a shy voice.

"I got it," he winked at her and rasped his tongue over his paw and his paw over his face, a clump of dirt coming loose.

Moonlightkit shook her head and nodded, "Oops... I was thinking Wildstar."

(R) With a coi wink he mewed right back, "I will keep that in mind," he chuckled and then eyed Moonlightkit who was glowering at him now.

"She was the former leader," she mewed quietly.

(How far in the Warriors series have you read?)
I saw that the black she-kit was giving her friend a glare and I laughed, flicking her ear with my tail. "Hey, if you want him, I'll back off." The mood grew serious as she spoke of the former leader. "Why does she sound so familiar?" I asked aloud.

(I finished the first series and read half of the first book of the second one, why?)

(R) Moonlightkit's eyes got wide and Bramblekit fell over laughing. She was glaring but she was also laughing, "Ew! He's like my brother! Blech!"

Bramblekit was snorting, trying to regain control.

"She only stepped down a few months ago," explained Moonlightkit who was extremely embarassed now.

(Did you get to the part where Cinderpelt is reincarnated to Cinderkit?)
I let an amused mrrow. "Even though he may be your brother, I have to admit I'm glad he's not mine. That would be awkward." I mused, blue eyes shining. "I never met her...but I have memories of her..."

Eagleflight put herself around the kits, looking around, making sure there was no one else present.

"Says you," Eagleflight responded. Featherkit squeaked, and she licked him to calm him down.

"You expect me to have to stay here and not eat? I have to feed six here, kitty, not just me."
