"Hush, you mousebrain!" I swept my tail over Bramblekit's mouth to silence him. After I calmed the rowdy tomcat down, I crouched down and signaled with my tail for them to follow. I padded out of the gorse tunnel and I was in the forest for the first time. "It's so big!" I whispered in wonder.

"I'm here to make sure you don't hunt on the way out." I growled, following them out.

(R) The tom looked embrassed, his shoulder hunched forward as he looked at the pretty little kitten. But when she mvoed to lead the group, Bramblekit was right behind and looked rather excited. When they came through the tunnel and out into the open, he smiled. "Yeah, it's cool, huh?" Bramblekit had been out of her loads of times when he played being an apprentice.

Moonlightkit however looked rather nervous and scared; she'd never been outside of the nursery area let alone the clan. Out of habit, she clumped close to her 'brother' and nodded her head, "It's huge!" she mewed in absolute awe.

-----(R) I hate collecting these herbs, Bluecrystal grumbled to herself, ears flattened as she stalked towards the Thunderpath. Though it was kind of odd that any plant would grow so well near the stink of monsters, this was actually the best place for her to collect certain kinds of herbs. What kind of herbs? Trade secret, sorry.
-----When she reached the thunderpath, though, a surprising scent reached the medicine cat’s nose. It was enough to make her forget her reluctance to go so near the twoleg monsters, in fact. Her eyes pricking, she slowly walked forward, taking in copious amounts of air to identify the smell. Though it was hard to tell over the yucky thunderpath stench, it seemed like . . . blood?
-----She hesitated, then after making sure no monsters were coming, raced across the border.
-----As her pawsteps entered Mistclan territory, Bluecrytsal found her hackles warily rising. It wasn’t exactly that she was scared . . . no, no, no reason to be scared of the ever-mysterious Mistclan, and of course no reason to fear what could be lurking among the pines. I just gotta figure out if everything’s okay, that’s all. Help if I can, she told herself, taking in a deep breath and lifting her head a little higher. Yes, the scent was definitely blood, and there seemed to be quite a lot of it. Right, remember, you’re a medicine cat. The help could be very welcome. Just be brave, don’t let them intimidate you . . . Then she came upon Spottedshadow and Darkstorm.

-----(S) Coalglow laughed, rapidly nodding in agreement. “No kidding! I mean, it’s really not so bad inside. I’m sure you’ll have the chance to see it some day, too, and once you do, it won’t look so bad. But it really does tend to creep me out . . .” He glanced towards the tunnel, lowering his head a little, and let out a chuckle.

-----When Bluecrystal seemed to go unnoticed, it helped to ease her apprehension. She sucked in a deep breath, then hurried the rest of the way over to the wounded she-cat and . . . her mate? "What happened here?" she asked, voice forceful, but tone gentle. No need to worry the tom any more than he already appeared to be.

And a love triangle thingy would be interesting, considering Eagleflight hates everyone plus one.] Eagleflight and Blazefeather padded into camp, wearily. Eagleflight was tired, but she held her head up, trying for it not to show. She held two kits in her mouth, and one was snuggled on her back. Blazefeather also held two kits in his mouth.

(W) I sat outside the medicine den, wearily sorting and mixing herbs into poultices. We'd gone to the Moonstone last night, and the dreams I'd had there had weighed down on me for the journey home, then kept me awake when we finally laid down to sleep in our nests when we returned. And then they'd completely vanished from my mind, leaving only a dark, heavy feeling of dread.

Blazefeather got Eagleflight and the kits settled in the nursery, and then limped to the medicine cat den. On the way, he had tripped on a stone and his ankle had let out a horrifying crack.

(W) I lifted my head as a tom approached, shaking off the worry and storing it somewhere it wouldn't bother me while I had a patient. "Yes?" I asked the tom, glancing over him for any obvious injuries.
