Eagleflight felt the claws clawing at her long thick fur. She pushed him down and kept her huge paw over his body.

Dappledfur sighed and closed her eyes, curling into a tighter ball. The vibrations she could feel grew rapidly faster and more continous. She shook her head and fell asleep.

(R) Dappledfur shuddered in her sleep as the vibrations continued.

Leafpaw was passing the queen's den, a mouse held in his jaws. He stopped by to see if Dappledfur needed anything.

Dappledfur yawned and looked up at Leafpaw. "Hello," she said sleepily. "Say, could you bring me a squirrel or something? Thanks." She nodded and closed her eyes again.

Leafpaw nodded. He took the mouse to the fresh-kill pile and put it there, then picked out the plumpest squirrel he could find and went to give it to her.

Dappledfur nodded at him. "Thank you, Leafpaw," she said quietly, nibbling at the squirrel.

"You're welcome," he smiled, then padding off.

So this means that you can RP with characters before I get to them, and you can just post them in the thread now. The only real reason I won't approve them anyway is if it has the same name as another cat in the Clan or if you left something out of the form, and that shouldn't be too hard to avoid.

(Okay, here goes. ^^)

(R) Dappledfur ate another bite, when suddenly a spasm went through her body, and the vibrating got harsher. She yelped, surprised, and a few minutes later, a kit was laying next to her. It was dark brown, with patches of lighter and darker brown scattered throughout her pelt. She had a white muzzle. But the first thing Dappledfur noticed was an orange glow emitting off her paws. She raised her eyebrows (do cats have eyebrows?) and noticed small feathered wings on the kit's back, along with feathers on the tip of her tail. She had no clue what this...this hybrid cat was. All she knew was that it was her daughter, and she loved her. When with that, she still wanted to hide the glow and wings. She caked mud onto the kit's paws, and used wet moss and mud to fold down and hide her wings. After she was done, she whispered the kit's name. "Swallowkit."

Leafpaw could hear the commotion going on, and he padded in. "Dappledfur? Are you.." he noticed the kit. "Aww, she's beautiful," he purred.

"Thank you," Dappledfur said, trying not to act oddly. She glanced at her kit's mud-caked paws, hoping Leafpaw wouldn't notice.

Leafpaw then left, deciding to give the queen some privacy.

(R) Dappledfur breathed a sigh of relief, then looked at her kit. It was odd, she'd never heard of a cat like this except in Halfclan. But...she was in Roseclan. How did this happen?

[Next day?]

(I suppose)

Leafpaw yawned, then went to the nursery to see if Dappledfur needed anything.

(R) Dappledfur was already awake, watching Swallowkit. She was prancing around the nursery. The glow on her paws was starting to show through the mud, but Dappledfur hadn't noticed yet.

Leafpaw watched her. She was advancing quickly for a newborn.

(R) Dappledfur yawned.

Swallowkit flopped down on the ground, and a bit of mud fell off her paws, revealing more glow.
