Michael: I was watching TV when I felt my phone vibrate. I took it out and saw a text from Lena. 'do we have a project on the moon due next friday?' I thought for a minute, then replied.

yeah, we got it on monday. why?

I smiled and pocketed the phone before opening the door to my room and starting down the hall.

Michael: I put my shoes on, grabbed my phone, and went outside.

Lisa: "Where are you going?" I called, seeing Lena walk by on her way to the front door.
"Just to the yard," she replied vaguely, stepping outside and closing the door behind her.

Michael: I walked out and sat down, waiting for Lena.

Lena: I left my flip flops on the porch and snuck up behind him, barefoot. I leaned in close, so my mouth was next to his ear, and quietly said, "Boo."

Michael: I jumped, then laughed. "Oh, you're so funny," I said, half sarcastically, while smiling.

Lena: "Yes, I am," I laughed, grinning as I seated myself beside him.

Michael: Still smiling, I said, "So do you wanna know about the project or not?"

Lena: "Yes," I said quickly. "If I don't get a good grade on this I'm dead."

Michael: "Oh. It's pretty simple, really." I took out the paper that had notes I had taken on the project. "We just have to look up a phase of the moon, then create a model of it -- like, with a styrofoam ball or something -- then write some things about it. Like, what number phase it is in the cycle, where the moon is positioned with the Earth and the sun, what it looks like to us during tha phase, stuff like that."
