Peter: When the truck got to Mr. Hammer, I looked at Adam so he could tell me what the right thing next was.

Adam: I picked up Mr. Hammer and made him dump the sand out of the truck, and then made him start hammering it.

Peter: I picked up a lego guy. "What should Mr. Saw do?"

Peter: I put the sand in. "Water make cemenent?"

Adam: I nodded quickly, though I actually had no idea. I just wanted to seem smart to the three-year-old. "Yep."

Peter: I smiled and ran over to the hose, pouring it into the truck. When it was full, I ran back and put more sand in, then mixed it. I got kinda dirty, but I didn't want to be doing the wrong thing. When it was mixed into mud, I said, "Cemenent ready!"

Peter: I turned the mixer upside down, splattering more mud on me, but it went where I had been told to put it so I was happily laughing.
