Lifeless Empty Lifeless

Lost and forgotten,
We've never been found.
Deathly silent,
We do not make a sound.

Doom has fallen upon us,
As we approach our fate.
Broken and torn,
We are no longer able to hate.

We wish we knew,
How we could survive.
We know what's at risk,
Are our lives.

What we are to be,
Is dead and hopless.
Pale faces and sickened expressions,
We are nothing but lifeless.

This is an amazing poem. I honestly despise poetry - and it's not just because I can't write it - and yet, I love this one. Maybe it's my love for angst-ridden literary pieces...

This poem gives me thousands of ideas for stories, so I thank you for that. (:

I love the rhyme and the imagery is absolutely stunning. I hope that you have more poems, because I really want to read them.
