The Deceiver

You were kind and cunning
Your smile so sweet
Your eyes dark and stunning
You were mine to keep

But what I did not see
Was that it was all lies
You were deceitful and clever
All hidden behind those dark eyes

I didn't know just how clever
You could possibly be
You were a pretender, a fake
All you did was lie to me

You had all I thought I wanted
You made me a believer
I trusted you with everything
But you were only a deceiver

If Fang was a liar, that would be the perfect poem for his book. xD

It always comes back to Maximum Ride. Lol. But, yeah, I didn't realize it when I was writing it, but it does kinda describe Fang.
