Good thing he's admitting it. Even if he's only doing it to stay out of trouble, Kayla thought with satisfaction. But then, when she heard his explanation, she fought back a snarl.

Personally, I thought it was a bit more than pathetic. The word? Huh...disgusting. I sighed. "If I catch you, I'm sending you, personally you. To the 13th perspective. And believe me, it's worse than..." I trailed off, making sure the kid got the point.

Kayla gazed back at Karnin, trying to keep an indifferent expression, rather than a frustrated one. I SO had nothing to do with this, she muttered - not saying it to anybody. Just to herself.
