Summer

Well, this is just a random poem Smile

Here you go.

Summer
Now it’s summer vacation
Throughout the whole nation.
No numbers to calculate,
Just pool chairs to inflate.

I’ll travel all over the place
Here there are no tests to ace.
10 hour plane flights may be boring,
But at least there’s no grade scoring!

I’ll stay home and sit at the computer,
‘Cause in summer there’s no need for a tutor.
I’ll be bored and waste my free time
Just like I’m doing now with this rhyme!

I will fly in an airplane,
To a place in nature without acid rain.
Sitting on beaches sure is nice,
But not if the water is cold as ice!

Beaches, though, they can be cool,
So much cooler than the pool!
For one there is the freezing water,
Which cools you off from the sun’s slaughter.

Some people will say summer holidays are useless,
But they have lots to confess.
Like the fact that they know that summer’s awesome,
Just like the flowers in it that grow and blossom.
