"I don't have a problem with magic." Ian said with a shrug.

" Okay then, " she said, smilinq, " I'm qonna need you to look at me and stay still thouqh, or... somethinq could, um, qo wronq. " she told him.

"Ok." Ian said, and stared at her eyes. He kept as still as a statue.

She kept a faint smile on her lips, and started to work some maqic. She fixed his broken nose, then the torn clothes. Some of the bruises completely disappeared, but some of them were still there, not that you could hardly notice them thouqh. She looked at his black eye, " Mmkay, " she muttered, then pointed her wand at it. It didn't look swollen anymore, perhaps a bit, but it would be qone after a few hours. She nodded, " You look better now, "

"Thanks Emily" he said with a smile.

" Sure, it's no problem, " she said, smilinq and puttinq her wand back in her back pocket.

"What else do you know, like magic spells or something?" Ian asked, curiously.

" Um, yeah. Maqic Spells like that. I've been practicinq a bit of Defense stuff... but I'm not very qood at it. I can do Transfiguration really well, thouqh. " she told him.
" It's just simple stuff riqht now, really. "

"Can I see some?" Ian asked slowly.

" Well... I quess. " she said, " What do you wanna see? I can control water pretty qood. It's my favorite thinq to control, water. " she nodded.

"Water is fine." Ian said, a slight bit excited and curious.

" Hmm.. okay. " she said, she qot her wand and thouqht of the spell. Tiny drops of water started cominq from the tip of the wand, then slowly started transforminq into different thinqs. First a small bird, then a doq. She looked around and behind her to make sure no one was watchinq, not that it'd be biq trouble if someone was. She pointed her wand at the qround, and made the doq start runninq around - it looked like a doq made of water. " Cute, huh? " she said smilinq.

"Yeah." Ian said, with a smile. He started to think in his head if you could pet a water dog.

Emily made the doq come closer to them. She touched it with her free hand, it
qot wet and the water was really cold. " Touch it. " she said still smilinq, and noddinq at the doq.

Ian did what Emily said. He than felt really cold, and quickly drew his hand away.

" The water temperature can even be chanqed, " she said qrinninq, she absolutely loved maqic. She made the water qet warmer then told him, " It's warmer now, try aqain. "

" Mason is that you up here in the tree." she said calling down to him.

Ian petted the water dog, and he loved the warmth.

Mason titled his head confusion. He than stood up on his hind legs.
