Camp Vamp

Jin blushed, but Haven couldn't see. But whenever he gets nervous his wolf ears and tail popped out of nowhere. "It's ok.......Um, it seems that Fred isn't answering the door, so I'm gonna go back to my cabin. Bye Haven." he said waving his hand good-bye. He didn't wait for Haven to say anything, so he ran into his cabin and he slammed the door behind him. He walked over and sat on his bed. When his wolf ears and tail were out, he looked more, cute instead of a soon-to-be leader. He saw someone looking at him, "What do you want?" he asked.

Haven nodded and watched him go, not able to say anything because of his abruptness. She sighed, and walked back over to the fire pit where she had first been and began poking around again.

Cheaka woke up, "Wow, I fell asleep.......WHAT?! Where's my book?" she said. She looked around and couldn't find it. She fell onto her pillow, "Man, if mother was alive, she would kill me." she said. Cheaka looked outside and saw that Haven was poking at the fire pit, again. She sighed, "Why does this look so familiar?" she said scratching her head.

Haven got into a catcher's position, sitting on her ankles. She grabbed a stick closeby and began to poke the ashes in the fire pit.

Cheaka sighed, "Oh well. I know! I'll ask her if she can help me look for my book!" she said snapping her fingers. She speed-walked out of the cabin and towards Haven, "Hey Haven. You wanna help me look for my....um..... my uh..... my most treasure item? I fell asleep reading it and when I woke up it wasn't on my face. I looked everywhere for it and I still can't find it. Please? It would mean alot to me." she said with a sad expression on her face.

"Yeah, sure." Haven slipped the volume she held from under her arm and slipped in into her coat. "No problem. What's it called?"

Cheaka sighed, she had to tell Haven or she might not find it, "It's called The History of the Higarashi's."

Fred quietly smirked as Jagger walked out of his office.


Rose quietly stood staring out at the lake, quietly, she leaped into the air, crashing into the freezing water, swimming towards the bottom of the lake.


Bell smirked quietly. silly, silly human. I thought, watching Rose dive under. Quietly, I slid into the water across the lake.

"Hmm." Haven let out a long sigh. "What's it look like? Thick? Thin? Leather? Paper back? Hard back?"

Cheaka sighed, "It's small, black leather, hard cover, and it's very thick." she explained.

"Okay." Haven tried to picture the book.

"Wait, it's not black but a brick red color. It has a star on the front instead of the title." she corrected herself. Cheaka pulled out a picture of it, she was the kind of person who thinks of worst scenario type things, "This is what is looks like." She handed it to Haven.

"I see," Haven replied, taking the picture. "Well, I haven't seen it, really. Where did you have it?"

"Well, at first I was reading it, but then everything just blacked out and next thing I know my book was gone. I usually hide it under my pillow, but like I said, I checked everywhere and I couldn't find it. Will you help me look for it in the other girl cabins?" she explained

"Yeah, sure," Haven replied, nodding. "But, won't we get into some sort of trouble just going into random people's cabins?" she asked.

"I don't know.... maybe we should ask Fred." Cheaka suggested.

"Who's this Fred everyone keeps mentioning?" Haven asked, brows raised.

Cheaka sighed, "He's the camp director. Ya know, the person who came up with the camp, the person who is responsible for you and I coming here and learning and to be with our own kind."

"Ahh," Haven replied, nodding. "I guess I should've known that.." she smiled. "What is he? Like, a werewolf? Vampire?"

Cheaka sighed, "No one really knows what he is, from what I can tell. He might be a human that was offered eternal life from a very powerful witch or demon that was dieing. Thats what the rumors say, but I don't believe anything until I see proof." she said.

Haven nodded. "I see. Well, where is he, do you know?" she asked. "Like, does he have an office?"
