She was this girl from DSRP, and she wasn't on there for long, but she was so insanely awesome. We had this private roleplay going on - that's actually why the song that's playing is What I've Done, because that was the title of our roleplay - and I loved it so much. But one day, she just disappeared. :/ I sent her an email today and I really hope she gets back to me soon. Forrey agreed to make the roleplay with me again, though, so we can relive those memories. xD

Annnnnyway, I'm watching Shrek Three right now. It's such a cute movie. Also, I got Maximum Ride: The Angel Expirement a few days ago, though I haven't started it yet. Actually, I've read a few pages, and I guess it's sorta good. I still haven't finished the Lovely Bones. I haven't read it at all this week. Gah.

I also went to go sell the car wash tickets. People are so dang rude and freaky sometimes!

We went to Outback tonight and my dad and I were talking about Obama's speech last night. Now, I'm gonna rant a little bit, so the next few paragraphs may will contain Obama-bashing. Don't say you weren't warned.

It just makes me mad. He completely lied in his speech. Up to a few months ago, the U.S. was expected to have a 3 - or 4 - year gap in manned space exploration. This is because the new space vehicles that were being developed to replace the Space Shuttle were not expected to be ready until the year 2014, and the Space Shuttle is going to be retired at the end of 2010.

Now, Obama has decided that that is too long to wait and NASA can't be ready on time. So what is his solution? Well, throw away all the work from the last 4 years and start over. I can't figure how that can make things easier, cheaper, faster, or better. To make things worse, instead of losing 3,000 jobs in Florida, now there will be 9000 jobs lost. I wish Obama had told the whole truth when he had a show at the Kennedy Space Center yesterday. He said he is saving Florida by bringing 2500 jobs with his new space initiatives. That means than 6500 jobs will be lost instead of 9000 jobs. How is that good for Florida? He never mentioned that - I guess he is a typical politician who just tells the small part of the truth that supports his point of view, and disregards everything else. He even mentioned that Buzz Aldrin, a former astronaut, was in full support of his plan. What he failed to say was that Neil Armstrong (the first man on the moon) and many more astronauts are in complete disagreement with his plan, and they further believe that we are going in the path of relinquishing our superiority in space.
What is going to be our new motto? "We are proud to be # 2!" or, "Why try harder when being #3 is good enough!"

I just really hope that he isn't voted into office again. I really think that a lot of people are regretting voting for him, but idk. :/
