angela pulled out her phone & added aimee into her contacts. she then gave ryan the paper that had aimee's number on it so he could put it in his phone, too.

Aimee sat crosslegged under a tree,now.She had talked to her brother,put her stuff away,and now was texting her friend back home.

Ryan sat under another tree, nearby, reading.

angela grabbed her vera bradley tote. in it, she put a book, sunglasses, & her camera. "ryan, i'm going to go outside," angela told her brother. "i'm either going to read, tan, or do photography."

"okay," ryan replied. "i'll grab my laptop & go outside with you."

angela felt as if this conversation was going to turn out awkward, so she was trying to think of something to get away. "we just wanted to say hi to you guys, but we should get going now," angela said to aimee & ryan, hoping that it wouldn't be awkward or anything.
