The Sown Shadow - Poor L </3

My computer is so cute now. ^^

I totally changed all the styling . . . there’s this gray background that defaults, but I have a picture over it that shows up most of the time. If that makes any sense. And would you like to know what the new background is of?

Why, it’s L, of course.

I also just realized that if I click on my menu clock, it shows me the date. *-* Oh, Jake, have I told you lately what an amazing computer you are? And he’s even making these adorable little sounds every time I click on something! It’s so cuuuute! :3

Now I have a dilemma, however. I found a ton of other L backgrounds . . . and I can’t decide which I should use. D: I mean, I guess I’ll stick with this one for now seeing as it’s already grown on me, but I’m going to have such a hard time deciding later. They’re all so amazing . . . and I even have one that’s just blank gray with the letter L sitting there, like shows up on computers when L’s talking. ._. Such a difficult choice.

In case none of you have realized by now, my Death Note obsession is rather strong. It's had the strongest affect on me since Twilight. It's strong enough to make me split Shadow’s Universe in half, Maximum Ride on one side and Death Note on the other, just so I don’t have to end yet another engagement. (True story.)

But Iggy isn’t one of the people I talk to in real life . . . I’ll literally picture some people standing there with me and have conversations with them. But L . . . well, he’s one of those people.

First, I must mention that when I refer to L beyond the actual series, I’m talking about L II, the clone I begged Mia to let me make. ^^ Thank yuu Mia. *huggles L II* And so, if you see me talking about L II, this has nothing to do with a certain fellow posing as L when he’s really only his successor and being called the second L by someone. I could never love that so-called L . . . I hate him. >.> Now I must rant in a freewrite, because I watched episode 25 today and I have never wanted to murder a character more. (And for the record, I also got all the way to episode 29. nod

And I’m about halfway through Chapter 2 of the manga.) Don’t read this freewrite unless you (want to) know what happens in eppy 25.

Finally. :3 I can be happy again! I was talking to L II this morning, but after episode 25 . . . I lost the connection. Sad

I couldn’t find him. But now it’s all better. ^^ I even took a few moments to cuddle with him just now. Seriously. He’s sitting right next to me, on my couch. :3

Now I will recount my adventures. ^^

Sunday: I decided I wanted to be nice, so I bought a dozen donuts for the family to share. Two for everyone, except for dad and Sammie, who only got one each because of the strangeness of the dividing. :/ I feel bad for them. But anyway, I had one left - a chocolatey one - and I went to go watch Death Note . . . and whadayaknow, I started watching the episode where L's licking his chocolately donuts. *-* I got mine so I could do the exact same thing!

Monday: I watched the episode where L ate a banana. So I got a banana and ate it at the same time. (Speaking of bananas, they calm nerves if you eat them. :3 Really! One time I was in a piano competition . . . first year I did okay, second year I failed, third year I placed first - and that just so happened to be the year I ate a banana beforehand. ^^ Why do I bring this up? Well, I’m performing in a piano recital on Sunday. I really hope we have bananas left by then. D: )

Tuesday: I had a deep talk with mom, obsessing over the crime performed in episode 25 and how sad I was. I ran around the house with my arms tight across me, whimpering and whining. Well, the deep talk came after that, because I needed to tell her why it was so important and how great L was and how I have an awesome best friend named Komoda who might be a stalker, but if she is I’d like her even more because it means she’s been playing the role extremely well and not slipping up at all, and so that means she’d be as smart as Light, which also makes her as smart as L. :3 Then I told her how eight was my special number. There was a lot of “Oh, God”s on her part, but at least she was in good humor, and now she accepts this about me . . . if she doesn’t understand. *shrug* (And for the record, she was the one who said Komo might be a stalker, not me. tongue

) Then I was told that I should be more obsessed with God and that I wasn’t allowed to eat sugar or sit like a frog anymore, but she was just joking about that last part. And now I’m about 90% certain I’ll be having strawberry shortcake for my birthday! x33

I then cheered myself up by looking at pictures from this epic game. Have I told you guys about Telephone Pictionary? It’s really hilarious. Say there’s five people, so you give every person five pieces of paper. They each number theirs, one through five, and then write a word or phrase on number one. Anything at all - we’ve written stuff like “raining men,” “coke,” “playing tennis,” whatevs. Then everyone passes their pile to the person sitting next to them, the specific direction which should be predetermined. Everyone looks at their new number one, puts it on the bottom of the pile of papers, and draws a picture on number two to match number one. After that they all pass again, and write on three a phrase to go with number two. This continues until everyone writes on the final paper, at which point they pass one more time so everyone gets their original papers back, and then they share the results.

We’ve played this game so many times, and it’s so hilarious. There was a time my grandma (not the epic one from California, just the classic grandmotherly one) wrote something about a bookshelf . . . it was boring, so I dressed it up by drawing a bookshelf with a television on top of it and a totally zombie person in front of it. nod

Then another time she gave me “campfire,” so I drew one with Spongebob and Squidward and Patrick in front of it. Gri likes saving these pictures and using them as his avatar and signature - that’s where he got that Lord of the Rings doodly thing. xD

Well, how did looking at the old papers cheer me up? Simple. One started as Coke, and at first it was just a bunch of people drinking coke. I put “I’ll take the coke AND DRINK IT”, but that just turned into another drawing of coke . . . the drawings got worse and worse . . . eventually the coke was sitting on its side and little ice cubes were falling out into a person’s mouth. But my youngest brother, the ten-year-old who really shouldn’t be watching Death Note, was the last one and would be writing on it . . . well, he put “Light said: I’ll take a potato chip AND EAT IT!” It was the best part of that night. ^^ It seriously did look like potato chips at that point, and I laughed so hard when I realized we'd both got that quote stuck in our heads.

There was another one . . . Gri knew he’d be passing to me, so he wrote one simple letter: L. I drew a decent picture of him, at least for a random doodle. I just forgot to draw his knees. But my aunt interpreted it as “studying for exams” because of the papers I put in front of him, when really they were notes on the Kira case! D: We all know L’s not the one studying, it was Light! But it was still epic because of those first two papers. I didn’t have that set with me, but just thinking about it made me cheer up.

Then there was this other hilarious one, that started as Nicklaus (aka Gri) and by the end became Captain Pick-Me-Nose, but I’m not going there.

My my, just look at how much I’ve written! And all about L! Well, I have other stuff now to say.

I’ve particularly been admiring Rem, because she loves Misa so much that she would die for her if it came to that. It had me all “D: I wish I was that selfless” . . . but then I realized something . . . I would die for someone.

When Shadow was still alive there was time he ran all the way to this really busy street like two blocks from our house. I followed him all the way there. Now, I’d always been told not to go out into the street. Even though I was only like ten, I knew full well it was against the rules and that I could get hurt from it . . . but I ran out after him anyway just to get him back. As I led him home, I felt so proud of myself. I didn’t fully realize what I did, but now I do . . . I risked my life for Shadow. :3

But the thing is . . . I’m not always like that. There’s two categories of love for me, one like really close love, like the people are my family. (And that’s disregarding the fact that I only love my family like friends, which is the other category of love.) And, at the moment, there’s only three people I know for sure that I love like family. *sigh* I suppose I'll find out eventually if I'd risk my life for everyone else, but for now I have no clue. xD

I suppose I could link hatred to this topic, right? Because I want to talk about Mark again. >.> The guy that I was going around declaring I hated, when he really just bugged me. Do any of you remember when I blogged about how he had brain inflammation or whatever it was?

Well, now it’s like ten times worse. Lightly put, it’s so bad that it’s like he’s never been potty trained. And I feel so bad for him, but at the same time . . . I can’t really say I’d care much if he died. ._. I’ve never been able to see the point. Sure I’d be sad if I was really close to the person, but either way, I believe that their souls go on (no matter where they live) . . . so it’s not really that big a deal to me.

Mom says it’s a good attitude to have, but I’d still prefer to care more. And I’m saying this because I kind of honestly believe that he’s not going to make it. ._. Poor Mark.

Hmm, well, I suppose that’s all I have to say. Thanks for putting up with me this long. ^^ Now answer the questions, and please click my adoptables!

Death Note is an anime and manga series, the best one in the world, and it's totally genius and about this hot dude who finds a notebook and starts killing people with it! But then there's the supergenius detective, L, who goes around trying to find out who Kira is. >3 And everything gets more and more intense!

It's so awesome that you're obssesed with Death Note now. Have you gotten to the part about Mello yet? (I suppose you have, if you're at episode 29, but I've never really watched them, I've only read them, so I wouldn't know.)

haha my computer is 'aquarium' themed so every time I exit out of something it sounds like bubbles, or a boat honking, or dolphins, or a seal barking. So i was on the phone with my ex-boyfriend last summer and I was checking my email and he was like "... did you just bark at me?". Haha I love you computer; even if your really screwed up.
