Commas
Commas save lives.
For example:
"Let's eat, Grandma!"
Or...
"Let's eat Grandma!"
Please use proper puncuation when RPing and writing stories.
*Poems do not apply
xDDD

Re: Commas
That's funny. XD I agree.
Also...
Woman, without her man, is nothing.
Woman: Without her, man is nothing.

Re: Commas
There's some person on WI who uses commas like they're going extinct or something. She'll be like:
Well, I, personally think that, if, you want to do that, then, you should, because, if you, don't, you will, be, disappointed.

o.0 That person will use them up so quickly they will be extinct. xD
I saw that one on MLIA, Jam, and it is FUNNY. I told my LA teacher that one. Now I have to tell him the one Ave just said 'cause now I can't figure out which is better either. xD

Re: Commas
I often wonder about commas with quotes.
For example:
"Joshua, do you not understand me?" Ben said. "You suck at Call of Duty!"
Should it be that or:
"Joshua, do you not understand me?" Ben said, "You suck at Call of Duty!"
Another one is:
"Blahblahblah," Jill said,/. "Blahblahblah!" (<--- Just play along)
When should it be: "Blahblahblah." Jill said,/. "Blahblahblah!"
It's all very confusing!

Re: Commas
Hm... *thinks*
I'd reply to the second, but I have a feeling my theory's incorrect. You do have a point on the quote one though!

Re: Commas
@Meerkat: It depends on if they're two different sentences or just one. If it's one, it would be:
"Hi," she said brightly, "who are you?"
And if it's two, it would be:
"Hi," she said brightly. "Who are you?"
"Hi," she said brightly, "who are you?"
And if it's two, it would be:
"Hi," she said brightly. "Who are you?"

Re: Commas
Indeed, proper grammar is crucial and does save lives. Even if it's just a little comma.

Re: Commas
Good point. I've sent the "Let's eat grandma!" thing out to my friend and mom via texts, because neither of them use any grammar at all, and I can't understand them. And they found it funny. I was being serious...
