Miyu's Blog! It's just random crayola.
So, my sister (Alice) and I are a school newspaper staff. We write very long articles, and Russell (she's the teacher in charge) told us that we should start a blog. Mostly because we have to go back and edit out some things because the articles are at least three pages long. Back to that later.
Anyway, I took Russell's advice, and TADAH~! Here it is.
So, yesterday at school, well, after school, we were at a Mouth Of South (that's the paper) meeting. Everyone on the staff sat down in a desk, and we set to the task of revising and editing. First order of bussiness? EDITING ALICE AND MY ARTICLES!! xP The paper is six pages long front and back, and some of our pieces weren't even finished! The Alice In Wonderland one was over three pages, the OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry up in Portland, *no we do not live there!*) one was two. I think the shortest one we had written together was about Bones, and it was about 3/4 of the page on Word. That's about the size of the other staff members articles. Some of the eds have written 2 pages, but we write the longest. Trust me. We had to edit out all unneccessary things. Which, by the way, was about as long as a full-size article by itself! (Well, if you add all the things from AIW and OMSI together, anyway.) It was just babbling about random crap, because we have to think as we type. We were sitting there talking, bugging all the sixth graders that were there. (We come in and type up our articles during 7th grade lunch. So, the sixth graders have already had their lunch, so we can come in and type. The sixth graders usually try to read over our shoulders.) Instead of them annoying us, we were annoying them. (Boggles your mind, doesn't it?) So, in the midst of all the math going on, we were sitting there giggling like idiots. Which , I'm sad to say, we are. Very much so.
Back to the point. See, that's what we do in the articles! We babble on about meaningless junk that has nothing to do with the article.
When they're finished, they're super long. Russell says that we could make a paper of our own. Personally, I think that we should have a paper where the eight graders don't do anything, and the seventh graders write it! There's four of us, so it shouldn't be that hard. The four? Me, Miss_Alice, iKrazii, and iExtreme.
Yeah.
You can only imagine.
But in the Bones one, we have three diehards. Me, Alice, and our friend Alex. And Alex was ragging on us, in her hamster voice (which made Newbie, Russell's unborn kid, give Russell a good strong kick in the bladder) that we needed to put SOMETHING in there about how hot Booth was. Then we got into a long discussion about how if we said something about how Booth was hot, we would have to put something about how hot Hodgins is. Followed by arguing and Russell yelling at us.
Randomly, Alice got the spinny chair, and pushed me around in it. She tried to shove me out the door into the hallway, so we had a fight about that.
How has your day been?
