Lol, are you talking about my theory on what the riddle means? XP Because I just kinda chose random words that started with the right letter.

Re: Red Herrings
They're . . . not her real parents? xD Um. They adopted her? (Not that it has anything to do with the answer. xP)
Re: Red Herrings
They're not her real parents, and I guess she's kinda adopted. Her real parents wouldn't care.

No. There's a reason her "parents" are upset and no one's gotten that yet.

Re: Red Herrings
Is it her "grand"parents? I think that the grandparents grew up with sneakers, and the parents grew up with shoes. I think that's why it's the grandparents. Is that right?

No. But good thought.
Here's another hint: Is there anything you have that you consider yourself to be the "parent" of?

Oh! I know!! Because Molly is a shoe and she shouldn't be a racist. She should get along with sneakers and treat them like her own kind.

No, but good guess
Another hint: I never said she's human. (But her "parents" are.)

Re: Red Herrings
OMG! Is Molly a dog that keeps chewing up the good shoes, instead of the ratty old sneakers?
