Saddle's Blog for 4/27/10 ~ My title is boring

My blog titles are always boring. It's always "Saddle's blog for *date here* ~ *random sentence that I elaborate on here*" every single time. But I'm not creative enough to come up with something good.

State testing started today. xP Horray, NJASK is so fun. xP

The vacation dude: yeah, my friend thinks he likes me. I doubt it though. I'll admit I did think so for a minute when I was on vacation (I don't think you peoples care why xP) but then I realized I was probably just hopeful.

I don't know if I even told you guys the story about the vacation dude. Though I probably did. I forget half the things I post.

There's a group on facebook called "If I text you, it means I miss you. If I don't text you, I'm waiting for you to miss me." or something like that. I'm a fan of it. So is vacation dude. So I don't know if I should stop trying to text him every day and wait for him to miss me, or if by him not saying anything first, he's waiting for me to miss him. Though I do. Constantly.

I was probably looking too deeply into that, though.

There's another facebook group called something along the lines of "If someone ever says this ONE SENTENCE to you, there's a 99% chance they like you." I joined it for all of 2 minutes to see what the sentence was, then unjoined it. Vacation dude joined it. The sentence was something like "Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?" I'm kinda half tempted to say that to him, but then that would probably give away I like him.

Again, looking to deeply into things.

I loook too deeply into things a lot. Like some of the groups I saw vacation dude join I found a way to relate to me. =/ Does that make me self-centered, desperate, or just plain weird?

Wow, the majority of this blog has been about vacation dude.

I just realized that I never tried putting our names in the love calculator on my iPod. I usually do that within 30 seconds of liking someone. xP I'll do it now and say the results.
First names only: 22%
First and last names: 45%
My first name and "vacation dude" (might as well xD): 68%
My first and last name and "vacation dude": 73%

....wow. xD

I wonder what the results would be with my friend who likes him....
Their first names: 19%
Their first and last names: 65%

*shrugs* I know it's just a stupid app anyway, I just do this for fun. xD

Well, I dunno what else to say. Sorry for boring you with a blog about a guy I like. xP

I seriously think you should try to take the first step, you know? Not even asking him out - just, like you considered, asking him if he has a girlfriend yet. -shrug- Don't ask me for guy advice. XD Then again, you never did... xD

Well the title is xP

I'd wanna do that, but if he doesn't like me and thinks I like him, he might get creeped out. And on Facebook it says "single" on his profile, but knowing that might classify me as a stalker. But I am. xD I'm not good with guy advice either. xD The closest I came to even going out with a guy was either spending a day with Derek last summer or when he asked me out in October....xD

The blog wasn't boring! :3 I find ones about romance some of the most intriguing ones.

What I think you should do is continue thinking about these things, especially if you like to, but the moment they start making you not-so-happy force yourself to thought. No good stressing yourself over things. Just text him whenever you feel the need, say what's on your mind, and let the chips fall where they may. If he likes you, everything will go well, and if not, I'm sure he's friendly enough that it'll go well anyway. ^^

If this were a movie, I'd advise you to take a chance and ask him if he's single, but make it seem casual, and see how it goes. But as it's not, I just have to say do what you're comfortable with. (I'm a bit addicted to nice plots, so yeah, I need to give you advice for you and not because I want to see how it goes. xD But no matter what, I do!)

I feel I come up with stories because dialogues form in my head. xD

Like after reading that, I came up with a couple of different conversations I could have with him about it. xD His answers were all fictional, but mine would be what I'd actually say.

#1:
I'd say something like, "A lot of people in my grade are dating and stuff. It kinda bugs me. I don't think I'd say no if someone asked me out, though....well, depending on who it is lol."
Then he'd answer and happy ending and stuff. xD

#2:
"Sometimes it amazes me how many people in my grade are going out with each other. Do people do that in your grade?"
Then, depending on his answer: "Do you have a girlfriend?"
Depending on his answer again: "I don't think I'd say no if a guy asked me out."
Again, happy ending. xD

But I'd never be able to actually say that.....

That's what I used to do about Jamie all the time! ^^ I shall hope those dialogues can actually happen for you. In a happy way.

I do that a lot. xD There's usually a happy ending between me and guys I like. Then I get sad cuz I realize it'll never happen....

How do you know? ^^ Anything is possible! Don't let yourself get down about it cus that's no fun. :3 You should enjoy it when you like a guy.

I try, but there's an issue with every guy I like that makes it so I have no chance with him.....

Well, don't give up hope. ^^ Perhaps it only turned out that way because they weren't the right one for you!

Juice - he just wouldn't like me
Cube - I've never even talked to him before
Derek - well, you know that long story
Socks (or whatever his name on here was) - I got over him
Jelly (I think that's his name) - I barely see him anymore
Vacation dude - he lives 30 minutes away

No, it doesn't. Trust me. There will always be other guys.

But I like the guys I like.....and everyone comes into your life for a reason.....they've all gotta have reasons.....

True, true. But hey, maybe that reason is to help you find out more about yourself and learn to deal with guys better than you already do (which I think you do ), so by the time Mr. Perfect comes along you'll be all ready for him. ^^

My friend keeps saying vacation dude is perfect for me. And she says I should ask if we can like meet up somewhere over the summer or something just for a visit. But I feel I'd get embarassed one way or another.....but I wanna try instead of definately never seeing him again.....

Be brave, Saddle, and try. :3 It'll be worth it.

Just work through it, or ignore the awkwardness. If you don't let yourself feel awkward, it won't be awkward.

I feel the most awkward part will be asking my mom if he says he wants to (smiley minus the grin part)

Oh, yeah, talking to moms about romance issues . . . *shudder* xD I had to recently, and it was so hard working myself up to it. But you'll do fine in the end. Once you make it through the conversation everything's easier. :3

I am not telling her I like him. I'm just gonna say he's my friend and I wanna hang out with him since I only got to like once. We had an awkward conversation about him once before, and I do not want a repeat of that. xP

Ahh, I see. xD Well, that's a good idea, then! Hopefully she won't find you suspicious.

I'll even say if he can come to *oopsies, almost said town name xD* my town, my friends who met him, too, will be there. (though that will probably be a big lie xD I don't want one of 'em there cuz she likes him, too and the other would make up some excuse cuz she knows I like him and would want us to be alone....)

Lol, well, I'd advise not to say so if it's not true. xD In the event your mom discovers something, you don't want her to have a reason to be upset.

I'll just say that it turns out neither could make it and I didn't want him to have driven a half hour for nothing xD
