Big Cat Diary

Based on the show on Animal Planet, this RP follows many Loners and prides of Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards in the plains of Africa. You will soon find out what it is like to survive on the African Plains.........


Heather was a gentle Lion. Mostly a loner until she found her one true husband who was a part of the Marsh Pride. After meeting her future husband, Jacob, she had 8 Cubs. More then the average Lion. She had 4 females and 4 males. Each child split at 1 year old and started their own prides: Starpride, Riverpride, NighPride, MarshPride, HighPride, LowPride, PeacePride and FIrePride.

Prides are on #2 page, Leaps on #3 and Coalitions are on #4.

The Leopards live in Leaps or Prowls BUT they are normally solitary creatures so there will be a list of Loners and you can just walk the plains.

The Cheetahs live in Coalitions BUT they are normally Solitary creatures so there will be a list of Loners and you can just walk the plains.

5: High Positions require active members so if you get a high postion and you aren't on everyday(If you go on vacation, at least say you will be away so I don't jump to conclusions) then I will drop you from it.

10: Please, not too much gorriness. Blood is fine. I mean, since MarshPride is the worst Pride, fights are going to happen.


Mating/cubs:
You MUST RP with this future mate for 3 days BEFORE confirming that they are your mate.
Please wait 4 days(You do not have to RP for 4 days to have the cubs). Queens and princesses have exceptions of waiting only 2 days to have Cubs. Betas only have to wait 3. Regular members have to wait 4 days and Medicine Cats cannot MATE OR HAVE CUBS

Description of the plot:

Everyone is still getting to know each other and getting used to their pride.

Positions(This applies for all animals however, I will just use Lion/Lioness so I don't take up too much space):
Queen/King: Chosen by the King/Queen and voted for by the Lions of the pride. If there is no king or queen, the pride has to vote for a queen but if there is a queen or King in charge, he/she gets to choose who to mate.
Princesses/Princes: Daughters and sons of the Queen and/or King. They are next in line for the throne. The king and queen decide which cub gets which before they die.
Betas: If the Queen/King are gone or very ill, the betas will take over. That is their position.
Medicine Lion/Lioness: These Lions/lionesses are chosen by th queen and/or the King and treat the other Lionesses.

This is a very important list of Prey for each animal. Cheetahs, Leopards and Lions do not all hunt the same animals so each list will be labeled PER Animal:
