"I'd love to hear your story." she slowly sat them. "I guess you should sit down." she suggested. Someone... trust me?

I smiled and sat down next to her. I started blurting out information. "I don't have any friends. I'm very defensive and won't take any crap from people. I will tell anyone off, even if they come with the best of intentions. I don't trust anybody until I get to know them. But when I do trust somebody...I'm extremely loyal. I'll never stab anybody in the back. I just ask that I don't get stabbed in the back in return, because I will stab right back." I looked at her and laughed. "Sorry. I never had anybody to talk to ever since coming here. That's why I'm in a bad mood."

I laughed. "What House are you in? I'm in Hufflepuff!" I was proud of my House! I wore that badger like it was a prefect badge!

"That's a nice name!" I told her. I liked her name, it had a nice ring to it. "I'm half-blood...what are you?" I didn't know if I should be asking her this. Was that a polite question? I had no clue.

There was an awkward silence that followed. I broke it by asking, "Did you eat yet? I did, but I'll go with you if you want to eat." I was still looking down. I think I blushed a little.
