Don't fall off. With that Kayla spread her wings and surged into the air. She glanced over at Brittani, making sure she wasn't gonna puke or anything.

Kayla coughed out a laugh, and then concentrated on flying towards the academy. Now that they were above the trees, it was quite easy to see.

They reached it a few minutes later. Kayla dropped gently to the ground, and folded her wings.

Brittani got off Kayla's back and looked at the academy. "Amazing!"

She grinned, then turned back into a human. But she looked a bit pale when she did, and had to sit down. "Give me a second."

She nodded quickly. "Um, changing shape just takes a lot of energy," she laughed.

She nodded, then stayed quiet, trying to get her strength back. After a few moments, she still felt rather faint, but she stood anyway. "Okay, let's go."

"I'm fine," she insisted. She wasn't getting upset, which would be a cause for concern, if you knew her. If she really had been fine, she would've said it with irritation.

"Sure," she agreed, nodding. "Here, I'll take you to the dorms first. There's a few empty ones; you could probably have any of them." Kayla started off towards the rooms.
