Requiem for Friendship
I'm tired of not caring
I'm tired of your alibis
I'm tired of you
Giving up on saving my life
You demon, I thought you were my friend
Open your mouth and pour out pathetic souls
Walking across the fire with bare feet on hot coals
Take the pain you’ve engulfed me in
Swallow it thoroughly down your throat
Gag until you choke
The worthlessness finally taking it's toll
I just accept the end
Accept I was never meant to be
And you have to accept it too...
But I have no life to get on by—without you
Angry is all I seem to feel lately
Why can’t I just once be free
From the anger that’s trapped inside me
That I try to get out in vain
The anger which you provide
The anger which you create
The anger that’s inside me now
Which refuses to escape
Only at me it eats away
The only emotion we never shared ‘till this day
Was hate
As I cry about it, my heart broken
You continue frivolous small talk with another
Thank you so much for giving me pain
My good friend

That also reminds me...
I should also, with the notice, put a message explaining how this is more of an angry poem, known as a rant, for people who liked my other, happier poems. Just for those of them who won't like this side of me.
