A small smile, crooked but brilliant
Bright green eyes that shine like the sun
A red rose, just slightly wilted
Led her to believe that you were the one

A walking dream of all that she wanted
With every right move and all the right words
Like something straight out of a fairytale
She couldn't have been more assured

A charming demeanor, that fooled her completely
She fell for your act right from the start
As each day passed she was a little more yours
Until the day that you ripped out her heart

How could she ever have fallen for you?
She believed it all, down to the very last lie
But you didn't give her any kind of clue
There was nothing but love behind your green eyes

You were the best deciever and you know it's true
Who could have fooled her better than you?
She fell for you completely, but that was back then
