It's May Madness!
May Madness will last for a week - from today, the 14th, to Friday the 21st. During this time there's going to be a lot of fun stuff going on.
Basically what's happened is that a few old pets (namely JubJub Birds, Puffles, Pocket Lints, and Reindeers) have been magically recreated. But you can't just adopt these pets - no, you'll have to find them!
But it's not just old pets which you can adopt - there are four new 'gem pets' which are ready for you to find. Even if you're not a collector, you better try and snatch these up - rumor has it that if you have all four gem pets and you reach 100 clicks on each of them, a very special pet will be up for adoption for you!
Pets will randomly show up on a page and will be named "Random Event Pet". After a week they'll stop showing and you'll have to trade to get them - though the old pets will be breedable, the gem pets will not be able to breed and so the only ones existing will be those got through the event.

Question. Are these set to appear on specific pages, or are they quite literally Random Events, like the "Something has happened!" on Neopets? Or is that asking too much?

Also, maybe it's just me, but the users list is broken. >.< It doesn't go past the first page, even if you click the "Next Page" button a bajillion times.

EDIT: I'ma gonna name all of my random event pets "Something has happened!" just for the heck of it.

EDIT2: 'Nother question. Even if you can have several of each, you only need 100 on one of each Gem Pet, correct? Because I have like three or four of each at the moment and don't want to have to get 100 on all of them.

No, you just need to get 100 clicks on one of the gem pets.

And yeah, I must agree! I had to reduce the chance to get one, because everyone was getting the pets so quickly, but other than that this is going well.

You'll get it whatever happens. However, you can't trade for pets who already have 100 clicks to get the codes, as the code will have already gone to the owner who had it as it reached 100 clicks.

I can't find any.

The odds were greatly reduced, but don't worry, you can still find some. In fact, I found one a few minutes ago. What really helps is clicking on a lot of pets. Or obsessively refreshing the page, but hey, that's cheating. xD

No, there isn't. Sometimes you're just lucky.

Keri: Just go through the user's list and click on everyone's pets. That's what I did.
