The Dragon Emporium, Book Two NEW PART, PLEASE CLOSE!

Corie leaned against the wall opposite of the one that she had thrown the pot at. She slid down until she was sitting on the floor, her hands on either one of her temples. one of the shards had got her right on her palm, and it burned severely. She was messed up, and at the thought of it, she whimpered, although it could not be heard.

"What is it?" he asked, tilting his head. He really wanted to go on and kiss her but..if he was gona make this last he had to be SOMEWHAT considerate.

"Corie's next door," I mumbled, raising my hand to my mouth and biting on my knuckle. I didn't know why I was afraid; I guess that she might try to hurt him again, or that she'd be mad at me, which I knew she probably was.

"Don't let it bother you...my door is locked" he said, and so was his window, but he didn't say that. He finally leaned in and kissed her.

Corie glared at the wall for a few minutes, before she soon began to shake like a leaf once more. What is wrong with me? She thought, whimpering quietly. She coughed, and kicked the shards into the trashcan, and she walked up to her drawer, and wrapped her hand in some leftover gauze that she found.
People had always told her that her father was crazy, and that she would turn out just the same.
And now, as she thought,
maybe they were right.

Despite the fact I was still a bit jittery, I kissed him back. Slowly. My hands remained clasped in my lap; they shook a little. My heart, though, slowly relaxed, it's pain evaporating in the moment.

He still kissed her back, one hand on her back and the other hand laying gently on her knee.

Cassie was sitting alone in her room. The twins were in Katie's room so it gave her time to think. The door to the room was shut and Cassie was sitting with as guitar across her lap, playing a Plain White T's song. No one besides the twins knew she played guitar and she liked it that way.

Jami knocked on her door. "Cassie?" he called in his best impression of Alex's voice--which was surprisingly good, may I add.

I kissed him for a few more moments before pulling away. What was I doing? It was late, I was kissing him, why was I still in my bathing suit? I sighed deeply and rubbed my eyes; I was exhausted.

Corie got up, and opened one of her drawers, and brought out a tiny little music box. She sat down on her bed, smiling sadly as she opened it. A small porcelain ballerina began to twirl around as the sweet tune played. She smiled sadly, and took out a small looking bracelet. She held it in her palm, and sighed. She had made three extra ones. But for some reason, she never got to giving Moony hers, ever since her mother died she just sort of... forgot. She closed the box, and slowly walked out of her room, and to Heather's. She opened the door-locked or unlocked- and placed it on her bed. It looked like a five year old had made it, which was the exact age she was when she made it. It had pink, purple, blue, and black all swirled up, with a few beads on it. After she was done, she walked out of the room, and to the hospital wing to have her hand checked.

A noise like a strangled cat filled the room. "H-Hold on!" she called, stashing her guitar under the covers. With a groan she hid it in her closet. Quietly she ran over to the door and stood there, "Yeah, what's up?" she called through the closed door.

"Listen" he said, looking in her eyes "Go get some sleep" he said, leading her over to the door "And I'll see you in the morning"

Noah was already there, sitting on a bed while one of the nurses made sure he had properly bandaged his broken nose, and they were putting some muscle relaxer on his arms, when he shoved and punch, he had pulled something and they were killing him. His eyes were red from crying.

I nodded, yawning hugely. "Okay," I mumbled, rubbing my eyes. I looked up at him and then stood on my toes, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "'Night," With that I walked to my room. As soon as I got there, I spotted the bracelet. My heart melted. I picked it up and sat down on my bed; tears rolled down my cheeks. After a few moments I slipped it on and smiled at how it looked. I could tell it was old, but I have small wrists, so it fit. I changed into my PJ's and spent the remainder of the night staring at the bracelet...

Jami cleared his throat and chuckled, "Wow, you actually fell for that." he replied in his own voice.

Cassie opened the door a crack, "Oh... well I couldn't see you. I control snakes and insects; I can't read minds. Whatcha need?" she was leaning against the wall with her foot and leg blocking the door so it wasn't completely open.

Corie walked into the hospital wing, and sat down on a chair, telling the nurse that asked her what was wrong what had happened-- the edited version. She dropped a pot in her room, and when she went to pick t up, one of the pieces got her palm. The nurse nodded and began to clean the wound, and all the while, she would wince every five minutes.

(Oh and, Alex is still upset xD)

Noah looked over "Hey Corie" He called slightly, hopping up and walking over to see his friend with his hands in his pockets.

(I guessed that, snakie xD)

Corie waved a bit, with her free hand. "Hey Noah," She greeted in return, her voice quiet. After the nurse was done fixing up her hand, and wrapping it in gauze, she pulled her knees up to her chest, thinking.

"You okay?" He asked, sitting beside her.

Corie looked up from her hand, and replied in a quiet voice, "Yeah." She nodded, "You?"

{Unless you wanna have Padie try to knock some sense into Moony, Surf. *shrugs*}

Jami shrugged. "Tim kicked me out of our room so he could mope around in peace," he replied.

He nodded "Nurse said I have a broken nose and one fractured rib" he said "He's a half-blood.." He said, not knowing if she knew or not.

Corie nodded her head gravely, "Yeah." She replied, meaning that she had already figured this out. She slid her hand over her face, she didn't look okay.

Cassie nodded and sighed, "Taking the whole Lizzie ignoring him thing hard, huh?" she shook her head a bit. "But what about Hope and all?"
