Gaby woke up in the morning. She took a shower & went downstairs, sitting on the couch watching TV while waiting for her parents to get back.

I texted Gaby.

Me: Should I come over yet?

Gaby checked her phone, & saw Axl's text.

She texted him back.
Gaby: Not yet(:
I'll call you when I'm going to tell them, okay?

Me: ALrighty...

Gaby: Okay. See yah later, baby(:

A bit later her parents came through the door. Gaby stood up & gave her mom & dad a hug. They talked for a bit then they went upstairs to unpack their stuff.
She texted Axl.

Gaby: Hey. They just got here & they're unpacking their stuff...
I'm gonna tell them soon. Can you come?

Me: On my way.

I rode my skateboard to her house.

Gaby waited on the couch for Axl, a bit nervous.

I walked in her front door. "You okay?" I mouthed.

" Yeah, " Gaby said in a low voice & nodded. " I'll go up to get them now... "

I just nodded sitting down on the couch. I had put my board under couch.

Gaby went upstairs to her parent's room & looked at them, " Hey mom, dad. Axl's here, & we were just wondering if we could just talk with you? " she said in a sweet voice.
Her mom nodded, " Of course, we'll be downstairs in a minute. " she said. Gaby nodded & went downstairs sitting next to Axl, " They're coming in a bit. "
In some minutes, her parents went downstairs & sat on the couch across from where they were. " So... what did you wanna talk about? " her mom asked.

"Hey I just want to tell you something before Gaby tells you guys everything. I love your daughter and I would never do anything to hurt her."

Gaby smiled. And her mom did as well, " Well, I'm glad to hear so, Axl. "
Her dad just stayed quiet. " So what is it? " her mom said.
Gaby stuttered, " I-uh- I'm - " she was saying then took a deep breath to calm down the nerves. " So well, while you were gone Axl & I, um, spent some time together... & I... I'm pregnant. " she said
Both her parents eyes widened, " What?! " they said in an unison.

I was at a total loss for words, but was prepared to defend Gaby.

Gaby lowered her eyes, " You heard me..." she said.
Her mom stood up furiously, " How could you, Gaby?! " she said, " And Axl's the dad, right?! " Gaby nodded, small tears forming in her eyes. Her dad just shook his head with a sigh.

I put my arms around Gaby, still having a hard time on what to say. "Please don't yell at her. We were being stupid, and unsafe..." I muttered.

" Oh, I'm sure, " her mom said, glaring at both of them, " Gaby, what are you going to do? You know you're too young to have a kid... " she said.
Gaby shrugged, " I don't know. "

"Don't give in to killing our kid..." I whispered in her ear.

Gaby nodded. She was absolutely not getting an abort. & that was just when the question came, " Well, well you are going to get an abort for it, right? " her mom said. Gaby didn't answer. " Right? " she said again. Gaby shook her head, " No, I'm not, mom. It's our kid, & you know I'm totally against that. "

Axl was waiting for questions too. But knew that he would be getting yelled at, at the same time. Gaby's dad looked like he was going to faint.

" What do you mean you're not?! " Gaby's mom yelled.
Gaby was getting angry as well, " Exactly that! " she yelled, tears coming down her cheeks. " I don't care if you don't like it! I'm staying with it! "

I put my arms around Gaby, still facing her parents. "It's not your life..." I said to her mom.

Gaby's mom glared hotly at Axl. " You know, he's right. " she said, " It's not my life. Do whatever you want. It's your kid, you'll raise it & take care of it. " she shrugged, " & that's your problem. Not mine. " she said, going upstairs.
