Hi!! I'm new here, (as you probably already know)
I was looking for a while now for a forum like this. You see, my father was diagnosed with AML Leukemia a year ago. All the while he was fighting as hard as he could--until he passed away not a week ago. I hope that I will be able to catch on to some ideas on this forum, make friends, and post my stories for others to read.

Yeah, my dad died a fighter, but he's in a better place now.

Thanks guys. My dad fought very hard, and I know that even if he wasn't cured, the Leukemia didn't win either. Now my dad is in a better place and the cancer is gone. It's just hard because I miss him a lot.

I posted some of my stories up. (Don't be surprised if you don't like them, my friend didn't) They were sort of for my own enjoyment so they aren't really the type of stories that EVERYONE LOVES. But yeah, this site is really cool.

*hug* You know, Libby, I'm really amazed by you already. ^^ You seem to be doing so well, and you have such this positive attitude! I really hope I could act the same if I lost one of my own loved ones. I'll keep your family in my prayers.

Thanks a lot, shadow. It is hard to lose a loved one, espicially my dad. And I think that the saddest part wasn't even when I heard he died, (I stayed over at my grandparent's house overnight and I only heard that he passed until morning) it was really the funeral that was the sad part. But I know that he's happy where he is now, and we all miss him, but it's really a selfish longing. But thank you so much, you are very kind.

Welcome to TWIG! I'm sooooo sorry about your dad. I don't what it feels like to lose a parent, but I know what it feels like to lose a loved one to a type of cancer. My grandmother died of lung cancer a few years ago. I'll be praying for you!!
