Alexia looked at all the marvelous pups; there were six, as she expected. She looked at Leafe, and grinned.

Re: The wolves of Viruarya-UPDATED
Shanayya
I walked around on the dew covered grass as the sun rose, making the sky an odd pink color with some orange and blue mixed along with it. I gazed at the stars as they quickly faded, leaving only a pale white circle left from nighttime, which would also soon be gone. I looked back down at my paws, watching a ladybug travel along the wet blades of grass, living its life as a small red dot. I sighed and finished my walk to the river, gently dipping my muzzle into the bright blue water so I could easily drink it up. I was thirstier than I had thought, and drank in the cold liquid eagerly as I tried to keep it from splashing onto my face.

"They are," Alexia agreed, a grin on her small face. She bent to lick all six pups; they all whimpered lightly when she touched them.

Adriano awoke to a sunny day. Beams shone in from outside, and he grinned; the rain was over.
--
Rand watched Shanayya from the safety of his den, while she trotted over to the river to get a drink. Soon enough, he had pulled his body into the slight sunshine and had joined her by the body of water. He dipped his maw in, as well, and drank.

Shanayya
As I finished lapping up the water, I raised my head from the water and shook my muzzle clean over the water. As I sat down, I realized I wasn't alone at the river. I turned my head to see Rand, and smiled at him. "Hello, Rand." I said politely, using my right paw to flatten the fur on my muzzle which was now standing at crazy angles.

Rand, still drinking, could hear the fea's sweet voice. He took his muzzle from the water, swallowed what was left in his mouth, and smiled. "G'morning, Shanayya."

Shanayya
"Good morning, indeed." I replied, referring to the nice weather. I sat down and licked some fur on my back and body to flatten it, feeling the slight breeze against my wet fur. When I was finished, I returned my gaze to Rand. "Perfect weather." I said, smiling and raising my head to the sky, lowering my eyelids over my green eyes and flattening my ears. This was usually what I did when I was very happy, although I couldn't exactly figure out why I felt like this at the moment.

Leafe wagged his tail. "That one looks just like you," Leafe said, pointing to a little male puppy.
Re: The wolves of Viruarya-UPDATED
"'Tis great, indeed," Rand replied, nodding his head, as the wind slightly picked up. It was a delightful spring breeze, one of those kinds that you only get while the sun is rising in the morning. He grinned, his hair being blown slightly with the breeze; it brought scents of daylilys and lilac, down from the lake. Those had to be two of his favorite scents to smell, other than fresh kill.
"He does. Look at his eyes, they're gorgeous!" Alexia smiled, then looked at Leafe. "Like yours." She looked back down on their pups. "Look, there's one like you," she said, pointing to a plump little female.

Shanayya
As another wind current blew at us, I faintly smelled daylilys and lilac. I realized it was from Rand, and smiled. Before I could stop myself, I softly muttered, "You smell good." Once I realized that those words had actually left my lips, I felt heat behind my cheeks and realized they had turned a red color.

Rand smiled. "Ah, thank you, I suppose," he replied, his eyes meeting the fea's. He brought his paw to his nose and sniffed; the scent of the daylilies and lilac had caught in his fur, and, sure enough, he smelled feminine, yet delightful.

I smiled. "It makes me want to visit the lake." I said, not bringing up the fact that he smelled someone feminine. I didn't mind, the smell was good all the same.

"Aye," Rand replied, with a curt nod. He smiled lightly at the female, dipping his snout into the water one last time. He pulled the cool liquid down his throat; it soon stopped feeling on fire, and he smiled, pulling his maw out and looking at Shanayya. "Me, too," he said, referring to the lake visit.

"Shall we go?" I asked, thinking of the lake. I hadn't been there in ages, for it always brought back memories of my parents. I swallowed the lump in my throat and blinked until I no longer felt about to cry. I sighed, and then looked back at Rand, awaiting his reply.

"We shall," was Rand's reply. He looked Shanayya over, before standing and stretching out his legs. He began trotting with her to the rising sun, to the East, towards the lake. He could smell the lilac and lilies now, even without a breeze, and he grinned.

Shanayya
I nodded at Rand before standing and following him east. I didn't have to squint at the sun as we walked, which was a sign of a nice day to come. As we approached the lake, I sniffed the air with a grin and ignored the good memories of my parents. This was usually the place I came to grieve for them, as it was our favorite place to be all my life. I sighed and stood beside Rand, looking the lake over with a smile.

Re: The wolves of Viruarya-UPDATED
Rand heard the fea sigh, and he couldn't help but releasing a long, held-in sigh himself. His, however, wasn't of grief but of relief. Moments ago, before he had even seen Shanayya, he was worried that today would be the day that his grandmother's fortune would come true, that he would be the last wolf on Earth. He couldn't help but remember the time that they were sitting in her den when she told him that.
"Rand, giovani uno, one morning, you will wake up to an empty Earth," the female, Andrea, whispered in the young pup's ear. It flicked, and she leaned away.
"Grandmother Andrea," a young Rand replied, "how do you know this?" The curious pup leaned forward, itching for his grandmother to tell him.
"The Star Pack, mio nipote, they send me glimpses of the future; and that was one." Andrea nodded, then slowly lowered her frail body, and fell into an ever-lasting sleep.
At first, Rand had believed her, but as he grew older, he realized how absurd and un-accurate his grandmother Andrea had been. But the thought still haunted him.

Once I successfully pushed the memories from my thoughtful mind, I turned to Rand. "Well then, let us do something." I said with a grin, dipping a paw in the water and splashing at Rand.

Fotia yawned and trotted out of her den, laying down and rolling over to watched the sun and clouds.

Adriano stood, but then instantly collapsed back down. His leg was shooting pain up his spine, and he let out a long whimper.
--
Rand smiled, his eyes on Shanayya's. He leaned in, as if to lick her muzzle, all the while dipping his paw in the water. He brought it back up, and then chuckled as water his the fea in the face.

As Rand leaned in, I wondered what he was doing. That was when I felt cold water hit my face, and I understood. I laughed and shoved him into the lake, jumping in close behind him.

Rand let out a low laugh as he entered the water. He resurfaced quickly, and began to splash Shanayya jokingly.
