I sat on the park bench, darkness surrounding me all but the streetlight above me. The orange light was faded and flickering. From afar it gave me the look of a ghostly figure. I gripped the sides of the bench until my knuckles went white and threatened to rip the flesh then and there. I kept gripping harder. I glanced down at the digital watch on my right wrist. 12:00 am. Hearing footsteps approach, I looked into the blackness to see a silhouette of a man. I stood up, my long black hair tumbling to my waist and covering my left eye, which was purple. I wore all black on this night, but had the palest of skin many have seen. I looked to this figure who finally entered the pale light, and made out his features. He was about my age. 20 perhaps. By the look of him, he was also gothic. I couldn't tear my eyes away from his throat as I imagined the flesh being pulled apart.The thick, warm, sweet blood pouring into my mouth. I swallowed in anticipation, wiping a bead of sweat from my forehead. "Who are you?" I asked, my loud words echoing in the silence and rolling off my tongue like a serpent hissing. "Bryan" he said roughly, staring into my eyes. I noticed that I had been staring at the veins on his wrist, and ripped my eyes away to look back at his eyes. "What are you doing here so late?" I asked with another echo. "Looking for you." he whispered with a smile. "But I don't know you." I whispered back, fighting myself to not think of his blood. "You will." he whispered, grabbing me and pressing his lips against mine. Just by his touch I could feel his healthy blood running warmly through his body. I couldn't resist any longer. I tore my lips away from his and went for his neck, sinking my teeth into his and ripping a chunk of his flesh off his body. I could see his surprised eyes as he fell limp to the ground, but I was so... bloodthirsty. I went for more and in a flash of blood I stared at his body, lying on the ground, his body empty of blood. Most of his flesh had been torn off, and blood dripped off my chin. The sun rose, and people came to the park. A little girl screamed when she saw me. A cannibal.
