Cakes vs. Pies

So, which one do YOU like? Cakes, or Pies? (This is pretty much my monthly debate thing xD)

Cakes for me >3

Cakes . . . because they're soft and chewy, but pies are crumbly, and the crust is torture.

Cake. Cake is delicious.
Also, those sugar decoration things you can put on cakes. And those funny silver ball ornament things that are absolutely delicious. You can put so many toppings on cake that just add to the epicness.

Now, pie.
Pie is gooey and messy. I hate the pie crust. You cannot add toppings or decorations to pie to make it better. Basically... it's just pie.

I dunno, I just don't like pie.
I also don't like raspberries, and when we go to, like, Christmas or Thanksgiving or something, my mom always makes raspberry pie. Maybe that's why I hate pie so much, but I might just not like it.

I love cake when I want something spongey..but the only thing is, I'm VERY picky about my icing. I only eat chocolate icing or strawberry.

But I also love pies. Apple, fudge, pecan, and chess are my favorite.
Chess is basically a pecan pie without the pecans. It has no cover except for what his made by the stuff cooking. Its basically sugar, vanilla, and other basic pie stuff.

So..both. Its a hard descision +_+

I really just love bakery stuff so...xD

I like pie because there are layered, and you can make more flavors than cakes: it's also easier to make up your own recipes! xD

I like MAKING cake, though. It's still delicious, but I just prefer pie, because I love having the crunchy crust along with the soft, battery inside. But, back to my point of cake: I like making it, it's so fun to make! You can get messy, and I love baking with my mother.

The only good part of the cake is the frosting. xD
I just love how it's crunchy on the outside and soft & stuff on the inside.

Apple pie is awesome, you see. And cake usually turns out to be far too dry. So I like pie better. >;D

If like cakes! Pies are more fruity, although there are really good pies but I like cake better.

Pie rocks. Apple pie rocks. The goodness when it right out of the oven, then the steam when you cut it. Then when it cools.... the yummyness. :33

Unless we're talking about Devil's Food with a certain icing [forgot what it's called], that's a different story. :3 the only icing I like is cherry and that one I don't remember. xD I also like Cherry Chip cake. That's it though.
