I liked her too much... Actually, I more than liked her. I think I loved her... Maybe. We hadn't spent much time together lately, so I couldn't really tell. "By the way, this girl I know named Rosie is having a party. Wanna be my date?" I asked, hoping she'd be up for it.

Violet sat down under a tree. She had her hood on, blocking the world from seeing her scarred skin. Her long sleeves and jeans pants covered her arms and legs. And the hood of course shadowed out her face. She would only take it off at night, when it was darker outside. Why did I have to be cursed with these horrible scars... she thought. Violet looked at her right hand palm. Tracing the pink scars with her other hand she stared at it for a moment. Violet sighed and looked at the bird sitting in the branch near her. It was singing happily.

I shrugged. I had already moved on from Jake, so I could've cared less. I smiled and blushed as I heard his thought. I tapped my head saying "I can read minds, remember? And I knew you wouldn't. But a guy like you, Anna would just keep on trying," I laughed, kidding. I had already told Anna about Jason, and she wouldn't do that to me. I looked down and blushed a little more at his question. "Sure, I'd love to," I said giggly. I frowned and blushed even harder as I reliazed what I was wearing.
