Twig's Almost 1!

If I stand correctly there was a Twig website of a different layout than this one in the past. I'm not talking about Twig in general when I make this thread, I'm talking about the layout we currently have. nod

Anyway, our own beloved site with the given layout is going to be turning one year old in four days, and I figured it should get some attention. :3 *huggles the website* We wuv youuuuu! (And Shadow for running it! What a Face

)

(But if a mod finds this utterly pointless or incorrect or something, close it. xD)

Aw Twiggy! x3 You're growing up so fast! I remember when you were first born . . . just a little notion of a baby website, really. And then we waited and waited, and after months of waiting, you were finally here! And then you were so helpless. Everyone loved you, but you had some health problems, so we had to give you surgery. Now you're almost fully healthy, again! Just one more surgery and then you'll be 100%! We love you Twiggy, and you're always gonna be my special baby website. *huggles Twig*

It's Twig's first birthday! Almost exactly one hour and one year ago today, Twig was created! (That was 6/8/2009, 8:36 am. :3

I've been on Twig since the very first day (and on Webs, too, and on the club on WI), and all I can say is that I love Twig.
Almost all of my friends are on Twig, and I spend hours here every day. I know that it's the same for quite a few of you, and I know that you love Twig as much as I do (but not more).
In 12 months, there have been just over 360,000 posts in the forums and 440 users have registered… that's almost 1000 posts a day! There are clubs and roleplays and amazing stories, but the most amazing thing about Twig is how we're all like one family. Very Happy

(A family which tends to obsess about the same things, like Dragcave or Death Note.)

So, that was my post. I'm sorta annoyed I couldn't make the thread, but hey, at least I got to wish Twiggy happy birthday. :3 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

That almost killed me to say, I'll have you know.
You're the awesomest site out there, and I owe everything to you, because I would be even worse than I am at writing now (if it's possible to get worse than that XD), I wouldn't have so many awesome buddies, and I'd probably annoy my offline friends even more. Yay Twig! Don't die of old age, now... O_o

XD Except, she turned two yesterday, not one . . . wow, and I remember the day she was born, I was on WI, talking to a buddy about how she'd just been born. I can't believe Twig didn't exist for a whole nother year. o_O)
