Tim nodded a little, wincing. "Oh, okay...." he said quietly. Then, after a few more moments of silence; "Lizzie, look at me." Gently he turned her head to face him. "I'm sorry. I don't know why I even ever thought to kiss Hope. It was a mistake. I don't love her anymore. I don't know if I really ever did. I love you. I will, forever, even if you hate my guts I'll love you." He kissed her lightly on the lips for a breif moment, pulling away to look at her. Tears sparkled in his eyes; tears of hope that she would forgive him, and tears of sadness that were there because he was convinced she hated him.

Lizzie looked up at him for the first time, her emerald green eyes slightly dewy and red. She listened to him and sighed, shutting her book and sitting up but she didn't look at him. "I know... I mean I don't even have a right to be mad it's just that." She paused and sighed, "I thought you did like her and I was... I was jealous I mean... I think you're cute, you're smart and funny. I mean I was mad that you kissed her when a part of me was upset it hadn't been me. I've been mad at you for no good reason and I'm really, really sorry."

"Yes I do!" she snapped back then her whole face drained of colour, "I mean no I-- That's not what I mean! I don't like him!" She covered her face with her hands and blushed behind them.

Casey sat in the garden by the fountain, feeling bored. Of course there were plenty of things she could do; she just didn't exactly feel like doing any of them.

Then a love-struck smile spread across her face, as Kevin popped into her mind. She let out a happy sigh.
