(This story is based on my character Beka Cooper from my roleplay Running. This is basically her past, so once it hits the year 2045, the story will most likely end. Enjoy)

Chapter One -- Year 2030 :: Age 15

I smiled, breeze flowing through my extremely short hair. It felt like I was flying. Better yet, soaring. Right before I hit the floor, well roof but I was up here so much it felt like a floor, I curled my legs into my body and tilited my head forward just a bit. By the time I hit the roof I was doing a quick roll before jumping upward and swiping up the hand gun that laid on the floor all by itself. I pointed the gun right at his head, and pulled the trigger before turning my body slightly and shooting another guy in the head. The next time my feet hit the floor, I kept them there and reloaded the gun. I heard a soft thud beside me, and turned to see Anidori by my side with a frown. I laughed and walked over to the two now dead CIA police officers. "Come on, don't be like that. I'll let you get the next couple. If you can." I smirked at her and dodged the kick she threw at me. I leaned down, and went through their pockets. Of course they didn't have anything useful. I sighed and straightened my body so I was standing slightly taller than my sister. "Nothing" I whispered, before jumping off the side of the building.

We rolled side by side into the large abandoned building we knew so well, me landing first like always. Anidori scoffed and went into her small room when I smiled at her and walked away. I jumped over the couch and sat, turning on the TV to see what they said about me today. No, it wasn't a high tech plasma which they made to be invincible nowadays, it was an extremely old TV made in 2010 that happened to survive all these years. A couple othe runners sat beside me as well, waiting to see what the government said about us. "
Beka Cooper, a well known Runner and number two most wanted Runner in the city, got away again. It appears she has killed five police officers, including our best chief on the job." I laughed at the TV and walked away with a bounce in my step. They never did realize that my twin sister had completed three of those kills for me. I walked into my small bedroom to change and glanced at my calendar to take a look. I flipped the calendar to year 2045, and examined the red skull I had drawn on a certain date.

I have always known when I was going to die. When I was a baby I had the date drawn in my head, but never knew what it meant until I was twelve. As soon as Anidori and I became Runners after our parents died, I had the dream. Only one other person knows that I have this knowledge, and that is my sister. I am not sure if anyone else knows when they will die, but I don't plan on finding out. I always thought about it, however. Did those two officers know they were going to die when I killed them? If so, did they have a family? I shrugged my thoughts off, and undressed before jumping into my bed and relaxing into a well deserved sleep.

Chapter Two -- Year 2030 :: Age 15

I landed on the rooftop of a tall skyscraper and looked around curiously. I hadn't seen my sister in four days and I suddenly receive a letter to meet her here. I glanced down at my clock to check what time it was. The numbers suddenly flipped from 3:59 to 4:00 and at the same moment I realized I wasn't alone up here. My sister walked out of the foggy nothingness with a frown on her face, holding a pile of clothes in her arms. It took me a while to realize that her Running outfit was what she held, and that she wore all black. I saw the bulletproof vest, and the familiar police officer uniform she was wearing. I looked at her with confusion. "Your a Blender now?" I asked quietly, afraid of the answer. Blenders were Runners that dressed like the Government. But I knew that wasn't the case, because they never wore bulletproof protection. She simply shook her head, dropping the clothes and revealing a simple black handgun. She pointed it at my chest, but didn't shoot. Instead, she snapped, and at least ten or more CIA men with full gear jumped out from their hiding places, grabbing me and holding me still.

I tried to think, but I was so confused. Then, my eyes opened and I jumped out of bed. I hurried to dress, and knew that the dream was too real to be an actual dream. It was just like my Vision, except worse.

This seems like an interesting story, Alyssa! I would work on having a little more variety within your sentence structure; for the most part, they're all really long, so try having just a few long sentences mixed in with shorter ones. Overall, though, I'm liking it, and I really like that it's an engaging story which explains as it goes along, rather than lumping all the description in the beginning. ^^
