IDK, I haven't read it... At least, I don't think I did, who knows. I'm reading the Uglies series right now! I got Uglies and Pretties at Barnes & Noble yesterday when I was at the mall... I'm almost done with Uglies, but I haven't had any time to read today, only last night...

It has a lot of kissing, but nothing more at all, and it's surprisingly clean. xD And it had the BEST ENDING EVER.

Why is Harry Potter banned? Why are some of Mark Twain's most acclaimed works banned? Why ban a book of collected poems solely about the Garden of Eden? Why is the Catholic Church tightening its grip on what I can read?

1610: Galileo declares that the earth revolves around the sun. He is persecuted for blasphemy.

1945: Two nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima, utterly destroying the target and surrounding areas.

1975: The Catholic Church confirmed that nuclear weapons are bad for people and all healthy things, thirty years after Hiroshima.

1980: The Catholic Church admitted that Galileo was right--that the earth does indeed revolve around the sun, not the opposite.

Uncle Tom's Cabin was banned for using the word 'nigger', never mind that it raised peoples' awareness of the horrors of slavery.

Zen Buddhism: Selected Writings was challenged at the Plymouth-Canton school system in Canton, Michigan because "this book details the teachings of the religion of Buddhism in such a way that the reader could very likely embrace its teachings and choose this as his religion." The last thing we need are a bunch of peaceful Buddhists running around. The horror.

Then again, it was once illegal to own a Bible. Guess who made up that rule.

XD Gosh, I'm so gonna read it anyway. The ones in bold I've already read, and the one with the asterisk has been recommended to me by a Catholic. Not to mention that I know of all the others, and have seriously been wanting to read most of them. And all that other stuff, like that very last part, makes the list totally bogus! So HA!
