I'm not dead yet
I'm afraid I will be soon
As I point to the gun to my head
I think it's silly; it won't fix anything.

It seems like the only way out
The only way out of this lie
I can't fix this now
It's too late to go back.

The cold muzzle of the handgun
It rests against my ear
I'm ready for my head to blow
I'm ready to go.

On second thought
I think this is not the right thing
No, not at all
It's the only way out, no choices anymore.

I pull the trigger
And my body slumps to the floor
I sit there, waiting
For my soul to soar.

Yes, it is. I just have heard a lot about suicides lately, and decided to write a poem about it. I feel so bad for the people in that situation, && I tried to think as if I were them. This poem makes me sad, too. ;-;

Aw, Rai. This poem, it's so sad, and I find it really beautiful because of the sadness. (And the formatting is really cool, too. ^^)
