<--The Difference Between Here and There-->
Maturity: Kissing, dating, some violence possibly, this will probably change as I continue the story.
Fantasy: Well, I can't think of anything. It's fiction.
"I had a nice time!" I smiled as he stared at me with a disappointed face.
"Caroline-"
"Bye Aaron!" I said before I quickly opened and closed the door behind me. I sighed in relief the date was over. I flopped down on the couch and turned on the TV. You see, Aaron was just another date my girlfriends set me up on. I was twenty-one already and still hadn't found Mr. Right.
My friends thought that guy the time you are twenty-three no one is gonna want you. I on the other hand didn't plan on settling down, ever.
I wanted to write a book, not just any old book either, it had to be one of the world's greatest novels of all time. My journal was filled with ideas for a book, but they all seemed too cliche. A romantic story of two people meeting and having love at first sight, done a million times. A runaway story, not suspenseful enough. A fantasy, just to bibbity bobbity boo. And a science fiction was far out of the question.
Just then my doorbell rang and I went to answer it. There standing in front of me was Beck and Kesh, my only friends. Plus they were twins.
"So, how was the date?" Kesh asked me in an excited tone.
"Well, he tried to kiss me a million times." I grumbled.
Beck rolled her eyes, "You should have let him! Couldn't you tell he was totally into you!"
"Oh I could tell!" I gave a small laugh, "But I wasn't into him."
"Caroline you'll never get married if you don't try." Beck said.
"What if I don't care! Guys I'm not an only child, my parents can still have grand kids. Besides, the only guys who are interested in me are too desperate to care!" I growled.
"Ugh, Carry how many times do we have to tell you! You'll find the perfect guy!" Kesh said patting me on the back.
"You don't get it! I don't want to find the perfect guy!" I practically screamed.
"Caroline, you don't have to hide it." Beck said. I just rolled my eyes knowing I still hadn't won the same argument we've had a million times.

What is the difference between here and there
Why was I drawn to this cross road
I look left and right with no end in sight
I love him, I love you, but I can't love you both
Chapter 1

Hm...a story about someone writing a story. I was seriously about to write one of those.....
Well, anyhoozle, I like it! From this little excerpt, I can see you have a ton of potential; but, if you'll excuse me, my inner grammar nazi is having a problem with one part.
"to cleshay." should be "too cliche (accent on the 'e')"
OTHER THAN THAT, I would like to see more posted soon! = )
