I winced as Amanda gave me a hug, since the cords were still pulling at my joints. "Hi, Amanda." I greeted, then smiled towards Cody. "Hi, Cody." I said as I wiggled back into bed and brought the scratchy blanket to my chin. Examining the flowers next to my bed, I pointed at them. "Are those for me?" I asked, my eyes wide. "'Cource, honey." I grinned.

Not knowing what to say next, I got her her blanket out of the seat over in the corner. "Thought you might want this?" I asked with a motherly smile, before the nurse brought in some food. Surprisingly, it didn't look as bad as hospital food. The nurse told Antionette that it was cheese-stuffed ravioli.

"Sure," I replied, taking the blanket and letting Cody spread the blanket over my body. As the nurse brought my food, I grinned like I would enjoy it. "Thank you," I told her, setting it down carfully into my lap. Taking my fork, I stabbed a small raviolli and popped it into my mouth, it actually tasting good. "Yum," I smiled as I took a small sip of the soup.

The flight to Arizona took a few hours in the stuffy plane. The pilot came onto the speakers announcing that they would be landing in a few minutes. He also went on with the weather and time. "The weather is about 92 degrees and it is about 2:30 pm," he finished up. "Ah finally! Warm weather," Alice laughed.

It should be getting cooler for the rest of the day. It's hottest around 12-2 pm," Alice explained as she impatiently waited for the plane to hit the ground.
