" Hmm... " Leah said, " Why not...? " she asked softly.

" Just . . . " he said quietly, " Lots of things. Family mainly. " he started tearing up again.

( ( i didn't plan on him being emotional xDD But I like him this way lol ) )

She stared at the sand, biting her lip, " I'm sorry... " she said, " What happened?"

(( ahaha. xD yeah, well at least he's a bit different. hehe(: ))

"Just, " he said, ". . . . The divorce, the apartment move for me, and not seeing them. . . ."

( ( Yeah. What, i thought I already said what happened (x

" Ohh... " she nodded, " Well, sorry about that. " Leah said, not knowing what else to say.

(( yeahh. but leah thought he was happy to have moved away from them. xD ))

" Yeah, " he said, " It's fine. It's not like anybody can fix it "

( ( he moved unwillingly xD yet a little willingly ) )

" Well... I guess so, " Leah said, " But can't you? "

(( ohh okay. xD ))

He shrugged. " If I knew where they were. "

Leah frowned, " Don't you have their phone number or something? Or a sibling you could get in contact with? " she said, then looked up at the sky. The sky was beginning to get a bit cloudy... & darker. She hoped it wouldn't rain.

" I did have a phone number. I try calling it and it just says that it has been disconnected. " he said. " And I'm an only child. " He looked up at the sky. " It looks like its gonna rain."

" Ohh, " Leah said, nodding, " Well, yeah. It does. " she frowned a bit, looking at the sky.

" We should probably go inside. " he said as a raindrop landed on his head.

Leah nodded, as the rain started to fall a bit harder, " Yeah, " she said, standing up.

" Soo . . . " he said

" So... um, I'm gonna go home, I guess, " she said, getting her hair off her face, which was already wet because of the rain.

" Bye then. " He said, getting up.

" B-bye... " Leah said, starting to walk away from the beach. She shivered a bit. The rain was freakin' cold.

Jamie started to walk to hi car.

( ( Does she have a car? ) )

Leah kept walking home, trying to get there quickly.

Jamie got in his car. He saw Leah walking. And he pulled over. " Need a ride? " he asked.

Leah saw a car pull over, & saw it was Jamie. " Oh, hey. Well, yeah, sorta... ''

" Okay. Hop in " he said smiling.

Leah smiled & went over to the passenger's side. She opened the door & got in. " Thanks so much... it was really cold. " she said.

" Anytime. " he said smiling as he started the engine.

Leah smiled at him, then stayed quiet.
