"Kitty?" laughed John as something small perched onto his shoulder. His dragon Broderick was a sea blue dragon with large brown eyes who happened to be a shape-shifter. Broderick let out a sort of deep laugh, his brown eyes sweeping over Hailey.

Hailey giggled one of her adorable, high pitched giggles. She waved at Broderick with a small--very small, actually-- pale hand, the other was inside of her mouth. "Hai Kitty!" She chirped happily, her round brown eyes watching the small creature that was perched on her father's shoulder, almost curiously. She was curious about everything.

Alan laughed and pulled something out of his pocket and put on glasses just like his "Mommy got me these, so I can be just like you!"

"Yeah...." She said, kissing Warren's cheek.

Noah sighed, suddenly infront of her and holding her still "Heather. I want you to tell me whats wrong" He face was full of worry, and you could tell in his eyes that he was deeply worried about her.

Hailey giggled in delight, her eyes crossing a bit so she could see the dragon clearly. She looked like a little copy of Alice when she was little, she had black hair, large eyes, and pale skin. She tilted her head before saying, "Bucket." That was one of the only words she knew; along with Papi, kitty, tigger, Mami, and cookie. Obviously cookie.

Jami laughed, "That's awesome, little buddy!" he said, ruffling the boys hair, grinning at him a grin full of pride.

Warren smiled slightly, but almost felt jealous. Sometimes he thought that Alan liked Jami more than him but...nah...

Heather stared at the tops of her sneakers. "Nothing's wrong," she lied. When she lies, either

a) her voice gets high pitched
b) she giggles nervously
c) she smiles
d) she blushes.

All of the above happened at once.

Alan grinned "Did Mommy or Daddy tell you I broke my arm?" he asked, holding up his bright neon green cast.

Hope looked up at him "Something wrong?"

"Heather, I've known you long enough to know when you lie" he said, easily raising her chin so she had to look him in the eyes.

John started laughing and grinned at her brightly. "Bucket? Of course!" he shook his head and laughed. His eyes searched her over and he started laughing a bit, "You look just like your mom..." he said gently.
