The Dragon Emporium, Book 5: Seven Years Later

Kevin had gotten red and started to shift nervously again until Altarra spoke. Then he relaxed and just nodded. "Right, what she said."

Lily frowned deeply, her little puppy tail slowly wagging. Then her head nodded and she began giggling, "Oh! That makes sense!"

"It does? I mean, yes, yes it does!"

She laughed and rolled onto her back. "Where was the baby before it poofed?"

{xD I know it is! *is seriously giggling aloud*}

Peter didn't hear Nathan. His suddenly wide eyes were on the rabbit. "Holy CRAP!" he spat, scrambling away with fear. "Get that thing away from me!"

The rabbit, of course, was friendly. It hopped up towards the scared-to-heck Peter, and gave his leg a lick.

Peter shrieked. "IT'S TASTING ME! IT'S TASTING ME!" he yelped, running over to Amber and trying to use her as a shield.

"It didn't exist," Altarra explained, grinning. "That's why the magic is so magical." This was really fun to explain.

amber pushed him away '' ew don't touch me '' amber said ... peyton ran over ... '' she looked at peter ... trying to hide behind amber ... '' what's happening ?'' peyton asked

{Same here, but personally, I'm highly entertained at the moment. xD}

Lily's eyes went wide. "Whoa." She gasped. "H--"

"Oh, hey, look what time it is?" Kevin stood, picking up Lily. "Time for you to, er, take a bath! Yes, yes--"

She started whining, "But I just had one yesterday!"

He froze for a moment, then calmed and rolled his eyes, "Too bad, you stink." He walked off towards the bathroom again, holding the black lab puppy tight to his chest.

"Not as bad as your feet I don't!" she protested.

He snorted and set her down in the sink. Pausing a brief moment, he stuck his head out the door and mouthed, "You're welcome," before disappearing inside and turning on the water.

He hid behind Peyton instead, pointing a shaking finger at the rabbit. Peter was deathly afraid of rabbits.

Casey started laughing hysterically when they were gone. "Wow."

Altarra laughed. "You owe me - actually, no you don't, cus that was fun."

Casey just shook her head, still laughing.

'' peter it is a rabbit ? '' peyton said .... just then the rabbit hopped back into the bushes ... nathan stood up ... '' so if it isn't ugly an unglier ... oh an uglier is peyton '' he said with a smile walking away with amber

If Peter was a wolf, his fur would be bristling. He glared at Nathan as he went.

Darn that rabbit. Why did it have to come out just when he was about to pummel that jerk?! Everything would've worked out perfectly otherwise.

That was when Fox came in. Peter's dragon was full-sized, and so, quite a fearsome sight. Swooping down to land in front of Amber and Nathan, he roared loudly in their faces. They wouldn't get away with messing with his human.

Fox bared his teeth at the pair of humans for a moment before trotting over to Peter. He didn't really like violence, and plus they hadn't hurt him, so he saw no reason to hurt them. "What happened?"

Peter shrugged. "That guy's being a jerk to Peyton here, and long story short, I was trying to fight him when . . ." He shuddered. "A . . . rabbit came out."

Fox snorted, rolling his eyes, then sighed. Would Peter ever get over it?

peyton ran over to peter '' can we just forget what had happened with nathan ? '' she asked looking down

peyton looked at peter '' so what now ? '' she said with a smile

'' sure sounds good to me '' she said beging to walk then ...she saw alison ... one of her best friends alison walked over to them ... '' hey peyton '' she said then she noticed the guy next to her '' hey she said is this your boyfriend ? '' alison asked

[I hate my locker.]
