A crow's cry mistaken for an omen
In a world of impostrous songbirds
Deafening our senses to truth

Drink it down,
Buy me one more round
Succumb to the forces around you
Embrace the solitude

Keep that blindfold wrapped tightly
You won't like what you see
The comfort of shadows is far from misleading

Force it down,
Scream without a sound
Let your instinct break through
Lick the blood from your lips

We're all vampires
Leeching off of every word
The beaming light our worst fear

Bleed it down,
Feel your victim's astound
Blacken your reflection
Fall in love with the crave

Or maybe we're sheep
Our ignorance turning us away
A poison-brimmed shepherd's glare

Throw it down,
Your fate renown
Collapse into my arms
Believe in this for once

Drowning in our own vanity
To our necks in crocodile tears
Our own crimson life holds distrust

Follow it down,
Your soul unbound
Let laughter fuel your vengeance
Indulge in this beautiful death

The melody of the songbird enchanting
Leaving our senses in hypnosis
Righteous in the slaughter of crows

Anyway... Wow, Komoda. *-* This is absolutely amazing. Not that all your poems aren't stunning, but geez. It's incredible.
