Death Note. Simple as that. xD I've never even watched/read Naruto.

I love Death Note, but personally, it doesn't have nearly as much as an in-depth story line or developed characters as Naruto does.

Omigosh. How tight is this? I'm going to have to say... Naruto. I dunno. It's more... Intense and agitated. Heated. Death Note is more... horrific, but in a good way. Well, either you understand my gibberish or you don't, I'm siding with Naruto on this one.

I'm not gonna answer this, because I've only read Death Note, so it wouldn't be fair.

...Though I've never watched/read Naruto. And DN was the very first anime I ever watched, not counting a little Pokémon when I was little, so I might be just a liiiiittle biased. xD

I don't think you can really side unless you've seen both the anime and read the manga for both

My vote falls with Death Note. I watched a couple episodes of Naruto, and while I enjoyed it, I just didn't find myself as captivated as I was after watching the same number of episodes of Death Note.

Though admittedly I'm not the best judge, seeing as that's only two episodes of Naruto I've seen - maybe three, if my memory isn't working - I kinda disagree with Horsey on the developed characters. XD Death Note's characters are some of the most developed I've ever seen in my life, particularly L. He has a unique way of sitting, he has likes and dislikes, definable personality traits, and history. Plus there's layers to him, too . . . he acts one way, but nobody knows what's going on in his head but those of us who are . . . in the real world. And even then, we'll never know everything about him - but there is more to know about him, at the same time.

Yeah, the Naruto characters are interesting and I can tell them apart, but to me the Death Note ones just seem more . . . original, I guess, because of how developed they are. If that makes any sense.

This is really just based on the anime, though. (Which I'm adding in after seeing Horsey's comment above mine.) XD I just have a harder time getting to the manga; I haven't even read all of Death Note yet.

They aren't books, they're actually manga. They're nowhere near books, cuz we read them the wrong way. XD

Manga are books... Hebrew and Arabic books are read right to left, would you call them not books because of that?

Normally I would automatically say NARUTO!!! but since I've only heard bits of Death Note from everyone one TWIG and I've never actuallt seen/watched it, I can't saw.
