The Blueberry

Maturity: It is about a blueberry... xD How mature do you think it is?
Fantasy: None

OK, when I was in 4th grade we did this unit on Poetry and all of my poems had an animal in them but a few of them like barely had anything that had to do with animals in them and this is one of them. This was my favorite. xD We had a format and we built off of that. My poem book was called ABC Animals. D

The Blueberry

The Blueberry
bounced from
the bird's cage
boing,
boing,
boing,
down the porch steps,
zipped past
the mailbox,
skidded through
a 26.2 mile
marathon,
entered a store,
rolled under
a clothes rack,
then dodged,
four dozen
glass collectables,
until it
bumped into
a bowl
with such power
the bowl broke
with a CRASH!
onto the
blueberry-
who, by the way,
still thinks
it was stepped on.
