The General's Journal for August 14

Hey, peeps. Today, I have to re-do my audition for band. I really want first chair, but I suck using the tempo required. I don't know if I suck at any other, though.
Update, the audition is over! It wasn't too bad, so I might get second chair!

So there's this girl, my friend, and I slightly like her (She's not Her, of course.), and wanna tell her, but I dunno how, so I'm devising some options, and possibly making it a poll sometime before Sept. 5. Her family is having a graduation party then.

I'm really annoyed, 'cause I thought it was this Saturday, but now I realize it's next month. I have nothing to kill the weeks.

No, it's cowardly to make a friend tell. (No offense to any who have.) I'm doin' it personally.

Yeah, and exactly how I'm gonna get that to happen. I need ideas.

Well... You could just outright tell her. It's risky, but it might work.
Or... You could compliment her? Then she might get the idea. Just tell her you think she looks pretty or beautiful.
Not hot though, that gives girls the wrong impression. XP
Or you could just like compliment what she's wearing or how she has her hair.

Ooo. I can tell her to wear her hair down! And it'll give Gri the perfect reason to say so!

Hmm . . . I wonder if that'd be obvious enough, though. xD

Oh, I think it would be obvious. I mean, how often does a guy who's not interested in a girl compliment her?

But they're already kinda friends, so she might just laugh it off and think nothing of it. xD (Seriously. Cus she's my friend, too. Like my best friend.)

Ohh... Hmm... Then he could said "You look pretty today, <insert name here>".

x3 Lol, I so wanna be there when he tells her, however he does it. There's such interesting possibilities . . .

I'd come up with one like this-
"Hey, Ann. I've got a crush on this girl . . . do you think I have a chance with her?" (She already knows he might like another person. x3 She just doesn't know who.)
"Who is she?"
"Well, her name's Ann Black . . ."

Well, so, Shad', you remember the ideas we planned?

Well, there was a slightly humourous one, where I tell her, "Don't tell her, but I like *insert name here*"

xD I liked that one. Then there was, "I'll tell you my secret if you tell me who you like." Cus she might like someone else, too, but she hasn't told him yet.
