Casper smiled calmly. "My littlest sister, Elizabeth, did the same thing," he said with a shrug.

Nick - *claps hands over Shad's mouth* Don't listen to her. She's the one who didn't want a maid.

Alice looked up at him. Was his family the same as hers..?

Casper just smiled and nodded in reply. He took his notebook from his pocket and drew something; a rose. He worked swiftly, and the sweeps of his hand were nearly elegant across the page. Seconds later, a rose appeared sitting in her palm net to Hugo.

The infant lifted his head slightly and sniffed it.

[Baahhhh.]
[School sucks. ]

She gasped, setting Hugo down and foddling the rose in her fingers "Thats..." She couldn't think of what to say.

Hugo crawled about, sitting happily on Casper's foot now.

Casper chuckled, "Speechless, eh?" He took the eraser and rubbed the rose out in one go; it disappeared.

Alice nodded, looking fromher now empty hands to him, nodding agian.

Casey had recovered from her headache. She should've, considering - in this weird timeline Shadow came up with - that it was more than two weeks ago. So she was just sitting around somewhere outside, on a bench.
