I leaned back a little. "What do you mean suprises?" I said calmly. "Do you mean to tell me, that..." I trailed off. I opened my mouth to say something, but closed it. I continued when I got my thoughts back together. I stood up straight and said, "Do you mean to tell me, that that part about the kids was a...suprise? What did you mean by it?"

(Yes computeradmit! I'll RP! I just have to help my brother-in-law with something when he gets off work at 7. It shouldn't take us long.)
