I just shook my head. Did she believe me? Or was she going to interrogate me later?

I stared at her. "You mean I don't have to sleep on the couch?"

I heard her the second time too, but I couldn't come down. I was too upset. I couldn't face her after what just happened.

She sighed, rising. She looked back at their tree once, sighed again, then began walking away.

I looked at her and opened my mouth. I was about to tell her, but then I said, "It's nothing." I shrugged my shoulders as I said it.

I smiled back at her. I lunged forward and kissed her again.

My crying subsided for awhile. I barely managed to call out, "I'm the one who's sorry." The constant stream of tears continued.

She heard nothing, she continued to go away, her hair lightly swishing with the wind.

I looked at her and said, "Why were you comparing rings?"

I returned the smile and said, "It doesn't matter. It's your house..you decide."

I was up in the tree, in tears, when I lost my balance. I feel to the ground, hitting 3 branches on the way. I laid there motionless.

"That's it? That's why you were staring?" I just laughed. "Girls do that, Sasuke. When someone that we know gets engaged, we have to see the ring and then we just start comparing. It's a girl thing."

She paused, hearing people scream in terror, then turned around. "M--Maikeru!" she gasped, running over, then dropped down, on her knees. "Can you.. hear me?" she asked, hoping he was still alive.

I shook my head. "I guess I should've known that."

I smiled and said, "Now that's what I like to hear. You finally told me what you were feeling." I got up and yelled, "The walls are down everybody!"

I opened my eyes. Everything started spinning. I had to close them again, or else I was going to throw up. "What happened?" I muttered.

I snapped my head in her direction. "What's that supposed to mean!"

I sat back down and looked at her. "It means we're taking things to a whole new level. I'm guessing that this means that we're finally dating?" I said smiling.

The dizziness stopped and I sat up. I groaned and grabbed my back. "Why am I so sore?"
